Yinz Coffee

Awesome! I consider myself a bit of a coffee snob and always try straight black drip coffee at a new coffee shop. I feel like this is the best way to tell if a shop is serious about their coffee. There’s no milk or sweetener to cover up the coffee flavor, so drip has to actually be good coffee on it own. Their drip does not disappoint! Rich complex flavor, lighter roast, with just the right amount of acidity. I got a single origin and 16oz is just $2.60. Atmosphere is also great. Quiet and peaceful inside with classical music playing. Do yourself a favor and go here instead of the Starbucks across the corner.

This was my first visit to Pittsburgh, and this was the first place I stopped while waiting to check in to my air bnb.

Loved the nostalgia and atmosphere. Friendly staff shared sights to see when they learned it was my first time in the city. Will definitely be back this fall. GO STEELERS!!!!

Thumbing its nose at Starbucks across the street is local favorite Yinz Coffee. Baristas are friendly and the vibe is chill and creative...a perfect place to sit down to write with a cup of joe.

The beans are roasted locally (but not in-house) and the current batch has a fantastic blueberry finish. The chai tea is worth a few bucks too.

Milk alternatives are available, including oat milk. Bathrooms are non gendered single rooms. No outdoor seating.

Got a 412 with vanilla syrup and a blueberry muffin. 😋 Both of the guys behind the counter were super nice. Someone ahead of us forgot their phone, and the Barista went running out and chased down the guy to give it back. That's above and beyond to me. Many people would just stow it for when the person came back. The 412 was delicious, and the muffin he gave me actually wound up being chocolate, but I didn't realize till I got to my car. It was still awesome and fresh. I'm not saying don't go to Starbucks across the street, but local is 🤌 Thank you!!

Absolutely adore this place!! I often come here to study and it makes studying at 6AM a lot more enjoyable. The barista is sweet, the coffee is delicious, and the vibes are immaculate ☕

Normally I feel like I go places and I get watered down coffee, or coffee with barely any flavor.
This was smooth and flavorful!
I asked for mine a little bit on the sweeter side and they gave me just that!

I highly recommend going to Yinz Coffee over Starbucks. The staff is so kind and personable! Everything they have looks so tasty the building is extremely clean! Nothing but love for this coffee shop!

The most efficient and lovely coffee shop on the corner! A great location, it is only a minute away from the great City of Asylum bookstore, the Alphabet city restaurant and the beautiful Aviary across the street. The interior design was simple, but really heartwarming and nice (exposed bricks, hardwood, SPOTLESS and tall windows). We visited them twice in the two days we stayed in Pittsburgh and had amazing Matcha and lattes. The baristas were really talented and understanding, they didn't add too much syrup to my coffee just like I asked and their breakfast egg sausage and bagel was so amazing I had to go back and get one more. I highly recommend this location!!

Yinz were great! Pittsburgh staple in the making. Themed coffee places are my favorite.

A nice place for a coffee. Server is nice and helpful to us since were new to the area and are asking about the details of the inclined plane.

Ahhhh!!! How cute! As a Pittsburgh native coming to visit, I just knew I had to stop. Customer service a1.. I got the biscoff latte. Soooo good!! I'll be back every time I visit!!!

Incredibly friendly staff, wonderful selection of pastries, several kinds of biscotti, and even a selection of Fancypants popcorn. My latte was delightful and there is no upcharge for milk alternatives. Spacious, modern, and clean. Semi-challenging location to find parking-on street in Deutschtown is always a pain, but there's several other locations as well.

This is a nice place for a cup of coffee and the staff is really friendly. I enjoy coming here.

Better then the new Starbuck next door. Yinz Coffee is the best. It's my favorite place in the Northside.

Great local coffee shop. Always clean and they serve good quality products. I believe they source the beans from a local company. Employees are friendly and nice to chat with. Recommended if you want a local coffee choice or just want a break from the national chains. Flavor is great!
Be aware, at the North Side location parking takes moderate effort. Not bad but not always without a short walk depending on time of day. Other than that a nice inner-city establishment.

Very good vibes inside, definitely a good place to sit and get some work done or have a nice little pastry. I tried one of their Valentine’s Day lattes which was delicious. Gender neutral bathrooms are always a plus ! Love seeing more places in the city have them.

I got a DahnTahn and a few goodies like the protein pucks and house coffee beans. Everything was wonderful and the staff was nice!
