Giant Eagle Supermarket

This particular Giant Eagle is an adventure every time I go. Before entering, I'm greeted with a loud recording telling me I am safe and secure because I'm being filmed in the lot at all times, which has the opposite effect. The staff seems to always be teetering on the edge of everything going wrong, but it never seems to. This is also the only place I've ever seen a supervisor, more than once, casually strolling and handling minor issues while sipping on a monster energy drink. Like i said, constant adventure.

Great Deals and fresh cuts for my Dogs food plus the FUEL PERK are a BIGG HELP in today's economy

I absolutely love the pharmacy here. The one closer to my house never has my son's or my medication. This one usually always does and they are so nice. When I call, they don't keep me on hold for 20 plus minutes and they always sound happy to help.

This Giant Eagle is definitely dear in my heart. Between the extremely helpful staff and quick checkout process I couldn't say enough about this location. A pharmacist was even willing to sell me some prescriptions in the parking lot. I don't even know that he worked there but this community is always willing to help. Locked out of your car? I saw a few gentleman there that have expertise smashing windows. If you haven't been to this location bring your family...hell even send your grandmother if you stand to get a little inheritance.

A great place near downtown to find fresh flowers

Giant Eagle alerted me about the Gold Medal flour recall purchased at their store, returned the flour the young lady who facilitated the return was exemplary demonstration of customer service. Thank you GE I apologize for not getting her name.

Excellent Giant eagle. This store was big and had a lot of options to choose from. I got my prescription filled here too. You can get a lot done at Giant eagle and you can save money if you have an advantage card. I don't have one but I should probably get one. That way you can save up perks and it counts towards future purchases

Shout out to Apryle.. She is always helpful efficient, and courteous.. The job is not as easy as it would appear from the vantage point of a customer.. Standing for long periods of time can be challenging for anyone.. So appreciate all of them..
Must not forget Ms Debra either who is always helpful and treats us well

This grocery store offers a range of convenient meal solutions, including pre-marinated meats and pre-cut vegetables.

They have a lot of "southern" style food. Best fried chicken is HERE.

Hyacinths. Tulips. Lillies. Orchids. Oh my. Even bouquets. And Roses!

Prices are a bit high. Eggs begin at $8 and go up. Depends on what you're getting.
You MUST try their fresh fried fish! I kid you not it, may be the BEST on the Northside! I'm not typically a fried fish kind of person, and I LOVED IT!

The shelves are cleaner, cashiers are nicer and friendlier.

Renovations are all over this place! You can get stuffing, whole meals, almost everything other Giant Eagle's do.

They got the Giant Eagle Buffalo Chicken Dip! So good!

I go because I am like 5 minutes from the store. So it's convenient as all get out. 😎❤😎😘 Which I love.

But the lines are so long! The lines go back into the aisles, still.
They really need to extend the store so that it will be accommodating to their lines. Lines going back into the aisles just isn't a good look. And it frustrates the customer clientele.

Better personnel and customer service -- keep improving on that. Can never have too many nice employees. *They did this* but again, you can never have too many professional and friendly employees. Friendly customer service ensures customers come back, and creates lineage of customers in families.

There's still some panhandling that goes on outside the store😒, but the store has taken so many measures since my last review. 😁Signs, painting, markings. I'm so happy for the progress on this. 🤩They still have a way to go...

Just got asked by a shady character if I wanted "car service". 🙄And before today, I had been asked by someone in the freezer section if I wanted to buy his food stamps. 🤯😵‍💫 That is illegal folks!😖😣 And the security is either allowing it to happen😡, or not aware of it.😲😳 They can't be that oblivious. 🤯Of course I told the jagoff to go away and that I wanted no part of what he was doing.

New foods in prepared foods and all over. New signage outside the store. So many improvements. ❤

But we can still do better.😎

Super nice people work here. I was out of town on business, and they had a great selection.

Their pharmacist goes the extra mile to take good care of his customers. He is not a bit lazy and will work on a problem until it is solved. Staff is first- rate too!

Great customer service and clean environment

The shelves were well stocked the store was clean and the people were happy to help find anything I needed.

Giant Eagle Supermarket is a great place to buy food. And, if you are going to spend money, food is a good way to spend it! If you are going to eat you might as well learn to cook. Buying food that you have to make yourself is much more beneficial than going to a restaurant and much more frugal way to spend your money!

Really nice store to shop at not to busy at rush hour time to shop I found what I been looking for That the other Giant Eagle didn't have note I'm not going out of my way to get what I'm searching for I'm sure other stores near me have it. to me it looked like they had lot in stock on the shelves.

Clean and organized aisles make finding what I need a breeze. Top-notch store!
