Vallarta's Mexican Restaurant

A little confusing as to where you enter the building. We drove around to where the lady was writing on the big sign and walked in there....it seemed to be the correct door, but as we sat there, we realized people were walking in both doors. 😆 Took a minute for them to decide who was going to serve us. I'm not sure if something was happening in the back, but they all seemed to be quite confused or preoccupied. But! I loved the salsa!! It had such great flavor!! The chips were a little overdone (probably from the night before because there were a lot of crumbs). We ordered, and our food came out pretty quick! Our food was all correct (my husband is a bit picky), and it had excellent flavor as well! We will absolutely go back! The service wasn't terrible, but a little awkward? I was told by a friend to try the fried ice cream, but couldn't that day from being absolutely STUFFED! So, it is DEFINITELY worth it!!

One of our local best, staff is awesome! Don’t go if you are in a rush because they take care of their guest, given of course you are friendly I have witnessed people not being nice to staff in a slammed busy night! They are doing their best! Food is always good - Alex, Oliver, Wilman all of the folks are great I know I missed some names and I am sorry but these are top notch for us! 😊

One the better Mexican restaurants in the area. We had a large group of 26 and they were able to seat us fairly quick despite it being a Saturday evening. Our server was courteous and quick. Our orders were taken promptly and the food was prepared and brought out within 20 mins of it being placed. Drinks were good too.

Great food, excellent service. Had not been there since they opened the location a few years ago. Last trip the staff was a little green, tonight they were excellent. Wife had an enchilada I had Vallarta fajitas both excellent, sorry pictures next time. Well worth they trip. Very clean,, tables spaced out nicely 8/6 Update Excellent fajita salad was great, as was taco salad very busy but staff on point

Fantastic food, great prices. If you want a variety I'd recommend the Special Dinner, it's a variety plate with a generous amount of food. Service was great as well, food came out fast and was fresh.

This was our first time visiting and we were really confused on where to enter. There are two main double doors on either parking lot sides. Both sets of double doors are more like plain gymnasium doors and not very inviting plus the fact that there is a car wash sign on both sides of the building that make you wonder if you’re walking into a body shop and less into a restaurant. If you’re going to have any sign at all you should have at least an entrance sign for patrons and not specific rules for employees entering. The car wash signs are there so if you want to have lunch/dinner while your car is being detailed in a corner of the parking lot, you can have that done otherwise they’re just signs on the wall. We’ll know better next time on where to enter, but really think better doors letting people know where to enter is much needed.

Aside for the doors, we enjoyed our lunch and expect to return. Having grown up in south Texas and chorizo being a staple food, it’s nice to have a local mexican restaurant that serves it other than just Monday-Friday. For this alone we’ll be back.

Really great, authentic Mexican food. We got tacos, chalupas, guacamole, queso, enchiladas and margaritas on our way home from the beach. Everything was fresh, delicious and the staff was courteous and attentive. Can't wait to come back to this gem 😍 🌮🌯🫔🍹🍽

Food is fresh and tasted amazing. Staff was friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable. My families new favorite place to eat. They will be seeing us a lot more in the future.

Hands down the BEST Mexican Food in the area! We drive from Tampa to ear there because they are worth it! Alex is most of the time our server and he always takes good care of us.

I read the reviews and my experience was fantastic.

Upon entry, we were seated promptly. He grabbed our drink order and got us chips and salsa. We then ordered - large menu, tons of options. Lunch hours are 11-3 which is nice. Our food came out astonishingly fast and was delicious.

My wife got a dish that didn't have meat (she didn't know it didn't) and they were kind enough to bring some out for her to add it (per our request). The service was excellent. The food was fresh and delicious. Their queso dip was some of the best I've ever had. The bill at the end was far less than what I would expect considering the quality and quantity of food as well as superb service.

My wife and I will definitely be repeat customers.

Delicious food! The Mexican Chicken Soup was delicious! Our wait staff were spectacular! They worked with the kitchen to avoid my allergens. I have to avoid dairy, gluten, and egg, which can be challenging.

Casual dinning, a bit noisy, very good food with a large menu. The place hustles and serves lots of guests quickly - and a good sign of quality and value.

My family dines here at least 3 times a month and we are very particular about where we frequent. We have a vegetarian, a whiskey snob and a two year old that can be very hard to please! The manager always visits our table and ensures we are taken care of. Food is always hot, servers are polite and attentive.

First timers. We got there at 11:58am on Tuesday May 1, 2018 and were promptly seated by Alex. Immediately served chips and dip with drink orders. The entrées arrived promptly and hot right out of the kitchen. I ordered the Burritos De Luxe (Two burritos, one chicken and beans, one beef and bean, topped w/lettuce, tomato, salsa & sour cream). My wife ordered the Vegetarian Quesadilla. Everything was delicious. Alex was attentive but not overbearing. We ordered fried ice cream and that too was delicious. Very nice dining experience.

First time there and it was great! Went at 4:00pm and not busy at all. Mexican decor nice, food was great ( my compliments to the cook) plenty of item to choose from. Lot of food at a reasonable price. Definitely will be returning. Thanks to our server who was pleasant, patient and helpful.

DELICUOUS I do declare and they have a secret menu item called A.C.P. Which is absolutely fantastic, consists of cheesy rice with chicken... learned of this type dish in Alabama and this is THE FIRST place with it available, NOT on the menu, I had to ask for such.

Best refried beans and guacamole I have ever had! Great service. Very clean. Friendly and pleasant staff!
