Quality Inn Radford-West Blacksburg I-81

Restful stay! This hotel is under new ownership & is getting nice again. It’s not new, guessing an early 2000 build. Rooms are large & quiet. Good separation between room walls, I was not disturbed by a neighboring room. Newer bed was comfortable with soft & firm pillows. Plus, everything worked! Good water pressure, no mold. Only bug I saw for the week was a single spider outside. Indoor pool & hot tub actually have water & work! Breakfast is simple, coffee, tea, an automated pancake maker(that thing is pretty cool-drops batter & cooks it on a conveyer belt) bagels, biscuits, and a couple cereals with 2%milk.
Good deal, I’ll stay here again over the overpriced small noisy hotels 🙂

Wow, this hotel was great and the price was affordable. Everything was clean, I felt safe and the customer service was top notch. I will definitely stay there again! The breakfast was good, too.

It was a nice hotel not bad for the price. Got a room here due to a quick trip to a cheer clinic for my daughter so it was a good deal for what we needed it for. Everyone was really nice and the breakfast was decent enough.

We had a small MS Conference there, a wonderful hotel, they treated us like family. Hotel outstanding and very clean, everywhere including the air, parking, rooms, pleasant surprise!

We loved this place nice and quiet away from the highway and don't forget the pool and jacuzzi. The kids will love it. Larry the guy that works here was very helpful.

Grounds are well kept. Everything was spotless clean. Breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast (sausage gravey and biscuits, pancakes, eggs, cereal, coffee, juice etc.). Room was nice and bed was comfy. Friendly and very help staff. Great fireplace in the lobby.

Great hotel and great price, We usually stay at Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn and the room we had at the Quality Inn was far superior to those rooms

I travel a lot and stay at mostly mid level places.(not the cheapest but not the nicest either) .. I believe I just stayed at the most under rated hotel in my 50 years of traveling...

It is a large yet family run quaint full service hotel with a great pool/jacuzzi and daily breakfast in a convenient location....

I almost didn't stay because of other reviews and because the name was quality inn and it was next to an un-staffed econo lodge. (the family owns both but keeps pricing down by maintaining their staff at the main lodge...

If they ONLY change their name to somethjng like Radford Country inn, they could double their price....

This is a must stay if you are coming here..... And less than 40 minutes to VT or 15 mins to Radford University...

Owner and his son both work the front desk and you can tell they want to help.... Great people, great location and the other reviews were obviously posted by the Karen's of the world...

The only negatives I could find...
Only serve protein in the breakfast during the weekends..
Wifi signal was middle of the road in my room.

Great place rooms are well kept nice indoor pool and patio with grill. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I frequent Radford about twice a week and always stay here. Free breakfast included.

Front desk was very helpful & accommodating. Room was very clean & beds were very comfortable. Nice & clean property.

Customer service was excellent! I was booking a room for my son who was on a road trip and the staff made it easy! We also needed to make changes to the booking and we had no trouble! The staff was super accommodating! Will def book with them in future!.

This place has SO MUCH POTENTIAL! Ugh, if I were a billionaire, I’d 100% buy this hotel and fix it up and I know people would love it. I give it a 5 for its potential. Breakfast is good, people are nice, it’s as clean as you’d expect a small town hotel. I enjoyed my stay.

This is very resonable cost accommodation with all the necessities and even luxury amenities like pool and hot tub, breakfast and business center. The room was nice and clean. The staff is polite and professional. Thank you for the service.

The managers were so nice and understanding! Dining room/breakfast is closed due to Covid but food was available. We stayed two nights and game night was packed. We stayed an additional night. Room very clean. Beds very comfortable. This is an older dated property but it was worth it!

Love this place. I travel for work and will stay here again next time I’m in town. You will be hard pressed to find a place with these amenities at this price.

My friend and I arrived in at 3 in the morning and it was the perfect place to hit the hay for the night and we didn't nearly experience all the stuff this hotel had to offer it was amazing
