Community Life Church

This church is like tacos: friendly, savory, non-judgey. I don't have to get dressed up nice. There are people trying it out every week, you might say they're "green". And service includes the occasional cheesy or corny joke. See what I did there?

This church is "a place for everyone."

Great church! I've been attending for a while now. The people there are kind and accepting, genuinely. I *believe¿* they offer translations of the services in Spanish to reach out to that community as well, which is wonderful. :) You can expect a warm welcome and smiling faces when you walk in and a great lesson.

Best church you could ever belong to. They make sure to welcome everyone coming in. They learn and never forget your name. There is somewhere for anyone and everyone to belong. Older. Younger. Women. Men. Children. Youth. Groups, camps, dinners, book studies. They reach out way beyond just that. The community, the schools, senior centers, other cou ties. Food drives, missions tris, Easter egg hunts, Halloween parties, just so so so many things. If you are looking for a place that is loving anf not judgemental, this is the place to try. I starting coming a little over a year ago consistently and it's the best decision I have ever made.

Community Life Church is so friendly, warm and welcoming. The relaxed, come as you are to worship atmosphere made me feel immediately comfortable and at home. I'm also able to focus and fully engage during the service knowing that my daughter is so well taken care of and loved in the nursery.

Community Life Church is very welcoming. Pastors Rod and Renee Hidalgo genuinely care about their congregation and make a point to get to know each person personally. The Lord's spirit is very present and can especially be felt during the amazing worship.. The sermons are thought provoking and always Bible based. I like that we break into small groups for a few minutes at the end of the service to discuss the sermon - that not only allows us to reflect but to get to know one another better. Community Life Church is also a church that gives so much to the community and strives to be an example of Christ. They have an amazing youth group that my son cannot wait to get to each week as well as Community groups for men, married people, youth as I mentioned and more to come. I would definitely recommend checking Community Life out - I think you'll love it!

I LOVE THIS CHURCH! Its focus is on loving God and each other with a special emphasis on our community. The worship is joyful, spontaneous, and inclusive. The church also sponsors several groups, such as a men's group and a married couples' group, which focuses on living God's Word in our daily lives and with each other. My children attend the Youth Group and love it. If you are looking for a church home, take a look - we always have room for one more.

Community Life Church is the type of church that really makes an effort to reach out. Not only to their members, but also to the community. They have great contemporary worship and sermons that are full of God's truth. If you want to simply show up at church on Sundays and fly under the radar, than this probably isn't the church for you because the staff make a real effort to build relationships with everyone in the congregation. Overall, this church is a place to go if you really want to feel loved and have a true connection with real people in the New River Valley.

I am a member of a different church, my sister invited me to visit CLC. I really believe they’re trying to reach and love every individual, and encouraging their members to go out into the world and love Gods people. It’s always a peasant visit. There is also a children’s ministry my sons love visiting, and an infant/toddler room for those who need it.

I am so glad to have found this wonderful community church. They are here for the community & reaching out with lots of love. Uplifting & sharing the true word from the Bible. Preach & practice the Word of God. I'm so glad my sister shared this church family with me. Believe & Faith & Jesus is practiced here. They are truly there for our children, youth groups & college young adults. We have a Seasoned Adults bible study. All ages. Love CLIFE

Thank you all for being so welcoming! It was so nice to see so many familiar faces, as well as new faces. The spirit in this church is wonderful. I could tell my eight year old felt the presence of the Lord as well as she was praising and singing...tears began streaming down her face! I am looking forward to continuing and growing in this church with my children.

Such a wonderful church that I attended while studying at Radford University. They are incredibly kind and welcoming! They always offered yummy breakfast snacks! Their pastors, Rod and Renee Hidalgo are the most generous and loving people who truly want the best for you. Their music is awesome too!

My favorite place to start a Sunday. A loving community where everyone is welcomed. Uplifting worship, practical teaching. This church encourages you to connect with God and others and they truly live out the most important command of Loving God and Loving people.

Very welcoming and warm . This church is my second family . My children love it so much ! so is me . Children ministry and youth ministry are amazing . Pastors are awesome and loving .i can’t not ask for a better church . What a blessing it is to call community life church : my church.

This amazing group of people really invest their whole hearts into loving everyone who walks through the door. You aren't just another name on the visitor list, they really take the time to learn your story. God's love is evident through the actions of this church, not just on Sunday, but all week long. My family is so blessed and thankful to have found this church.

Truly the most positive church experience we’ve ever had. It’s a culture of hope, love and community! Our children will grow in a church that puts leading kids to Christ their mission! We love our C-Life!

Community. Friends who love you as you are. Worship and teaching that just fit. Loving Jesus and those around us...together. My friends at Community Life (Clife for short) are some of my favorite people in the world and I'm always excited to get together with them, whether it's for mens' group, game night, Sunday morning service, married's group, worship team rehearsal--whenever! Everybody's welcome. Everyone is important. Simple love is this church's native language. Come and see! We'll be glad to have you with us at Clife.

I enjoyed visiting this church. The community is very laid back, and friendly. The environment if very loving, and inviting. The church in also very intentional about being involved in the community, and in each others lives.
