Northern Tool + Equipment

I had to part with my pressure washer for service for a couple of weeks which was incredibly painful as a business owner. However, during this time Allen did everything in his power to keep me updated and to get me fixed up faster than any other store in the area. To top off an already great experience, he took time out of his day to explain to me how I could better safeguard my equipment from breakdowns in the future. I couldn't be more impressed. It's a little out of my way, but way worth it. I'll be shopping here, and getting my repairs done here going forward. Thank you Allen!

I found what I was looking for online, said they had three in stock. I showed up and looked around and couldn't find them. Asked an employee and they told me where they were. Found them and there was indeed three in stock. The gentleman that helped me find what I was looking for and the counter staff were all very friendly and helpful. The store was well organized and clean, very presentable. Very nice experience. 👍🏻

Thus far I have only purchased items online and prior to that via mail order catalog and I have NO complaints. Every item I've bought was reasonably priced and of high quality. Every purchase was sent promptly and arrived in good condition. I have not had any customer satisfaction problems with this company but I am of the opinion if there was an issue with a product "They" would not hesitate to resolve the matter satisfactorily.

I love going into Northern. I feel like a kid in a candy store. There are so many neat to have tool items, I want one of each. I saw a lot of associates in the store, but they all seemed to have other priorities than helping a lost customer. I finally found what I was looking for. At the checkout was the nicest lady. I am sorry I didn't catch her name, she was a little bit older than most of the other associates. She was fun to talk to and very helpful. I am so used to an extremely crowded facility, this place seemed empty. Thanks for being there when I needed something.

Good store and good workers!

Several of my online orders have been placed and then lost in the system. I have called and emailed customer care with no luck. The Salem store manager honored the sale prices when I had a chance to visit the store even though the sales had expired, no questions asked. Terrible service online but great service in the Salem store.

Service and products are top notch! We bought a Honda generator almost 5 years ago and use it daily in our off grid camper. Ready for another one so we have a backup. The high speed fans by Ironton are awesome too, all metal construction and move alot of air without much noise. The technicians and customer service staff are super helpful too!

Always a friendly atmosphere, clean store and all the help you need or not. Prices are competitive ( you get what you pay for) and reasonably, they also do price match. Great place to shop.

Northern Tool has a a good selection of tools from premium to bargain brands. Apparel is always on sale there too it seems. Quality stuff in anyone's price range without the long lines of larger stores.

Found some useful odds and ends here. They carry a wide variety of tools and miscellaneous items; just like the name implies: Northern Tool & Equipment. Trailers, chain saws, weed trimmers, tractor parts and equipment, work clothes, gloves, rain gear, and so many other things.

I had Jerry help me find several things I was looking for. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. They had everything I was looking for on that trip to Northern and the prices were reasonable. I'll continue to shop there.

Excellent selection and lots to learn from what is available. I like that it is different than other tool/hardware stores
