Great place to work. The team here are in the business of delivering smiles! There's also a customer pick-up on location as well.

Worked here temporarily for 4 months as an associate and did driving for a few weeks.

The driving is fine, I worked with LCLM. The male MOD was pretty rude my day 1 and he didn’t know I was new and when I attempted to approach him during stand up to let him know I’m new and didn’t know how the process works he threw his hands up, stepped back, and pointed to another person and said “go to them”. Right before pulling off to began loading they sent someone to ride with me. He later said “I didn’t know you was new” ….

The area is nice and rural and not too far from the actual bldg so the deadhead is not much. I didn’t socialize much with the other drivers but the ones who I did get to meet during rescues were helpful and with good manners. No negative energy

The actually owners of the DSP and everyone else was pretty cool, straight forward, and helpful.

I moved to working inside the bldg because the Savannah weather during the summer was too much to bare as a driver

The loading and package volume is a lot but that’s expected.

As a driver you don’t really come in contact with the individuals inside the bldg aside from management that’s controlling the pad and the managers here overall are about getting the job done, meeting the mark which is fantastic and important.

The customers were nice as well and never rude. I came across a few older white males who made a few statements about me being black but I didn’t feel threatened. I was on a farm and a young white guy approached me questioning me and it cautioned me a bit because I had a Amazon uniform on so it confused me lol but hey. you can never be too careful in todays climate with anyone. I did mention these incidents to the dispatchers and inquired about the safety of black drivers in the areas and he told no incidents ever been reported.

You have (2x) 15min, 30min breaks

Maintenance is timely and helpful

Vans are safe and drive-able

No drama.

(MPBW Associate Perspective)

Majority of the managers & PA’s are about getting the job done. Everyone has their own personalities and ways but respectful and approachable. The communication between managers and how they implement rules is not consistent. They’re upgrading equipment and tweaking processes to help streamline. They did not have a HR in the bldg for 3months. I’ve been followed in the bathroom by PA’s to check for whereabouts after 5mins. The micromanaging is understandable because majority of the staff doesn’t care but for the individuals like myself who come to work to actually work it’s unappealing.

The pay is better than Atlanta & MD locations

They do not do as much giveaways as previous locations I’ve worked but this bldg seems to be a few notches behind.

The staff/fellow associates makes the bldg intolerable on top of dealing with the management

The volume is very manageable, the most I’ve seen is 75k peak season

My first day I had to dodge an altercation with an associate due to the way I was approached about packages. This is something that happens often & when you stand your ground these ppl act as if they’re going to do something to you or play victim & they attempt to gangstalk you with everyone else they’re in cahoots with. I had to speak to a PA multiple times also

if you got a goal you’re trying to achieve financially/career stay focus, check what needs to be check, really act blind/deaf to everything else and stay to yourself if you can help it.

You spend about 70% of the time doing the job & 30% checking & correcting ppl

It no accountability for the associates
The break room has roaches although the cleaning staff keeps it clean
A lot of the toilets do not flush with the automatic sensor
LGBT Safe based on my experience as a MPBW I never felt disrespected just a lot of stares
(2x) 15min, 30min
great physical work

I would hope that they step up the quality control and hold their drivers accountable. Delivered two of my orders to the wrong address all in this week alone. Wrote in my instructions to ensure they take a clear picture of my package and door number (after 1st bad delivery out of 4) yet that was ignored (possibly due to incompetency or illiterate drivers). I have plenty of evidence so this isn't just a senseless rant that sometimes people post.

If you want to work with a lot of high individuals, work here. You can get a contact high just by walking in from break. Managers know they are getting high in their cars during break but they don't care.
