Havana’s Restaurant

Everything here is flawless, the delicious food, the friendly service, the laidback atmosphere and the incredible drinks. The jalapeno margaritas are wonderfully delicious and spicy and nearly impossible to beat. The scallops were perfectly cooked, as were the conch fritters, which were served with a delicious dipping sauce. Best calamari I've ever had as well. The only thing here that's even better than the food and drinks is the service, the staff are laid back, friendly and fun, extremely welcoming place to enjoy a meal.

Great food and service. The shrimp fried rice and shrimp and grits were really good. But the Bananas Foster was delicious. Service from Patrice was excellent.

We had such an amazing experience at Havana's this week. My husband and I have enjoyed visiting Havana's a few times during visits to Carolina Beach, and every time has been great. This time took the cake though between a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food.

My husband and I ordered Volcano Shrimp, split the sirloin meal, and had drinks. The bread for the table with the butter spread is incredible. I wish I could have eaten the volcano shrimp a million times over - it's ridiculous how good it is! Our steak was not my favorite but that was mainly my husband's fault because he likes it cooked more than I do - he really enjoyed it. I might switch out the green beans for another side next time, but they were good and the mashed potatoes were great! The CB Sunset Martini might be the best drink I've ever had, and my husband enjoyed a mojito.

Our waitress, Jane, really cemented the high quality of our visit. Her attitude, attentiveness, joy, and overall good service was incredible. All the staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly, but I was so thankful that Jane was our waitress and made it a great evening for us!

No long wait times, such a beautiful atmosphere. The hostess sat us immediately and the server was there to get us going on some much needed water. I got the fried jumbo shrimp in a special sauce. Also a basket of fries. Very delicious! Parking was easy to find. The bathrooms were very clean and smelt fresh. Being by the ocean sometimes the free water can taste strange but this place their water was fantastic! Highly recommend

Great atmosphere, very romantic. They had live music outside. Gorgeous flowers for great scenery. Menu has lots of different options like fish, chicken, scallops, salads, bison burger, etc. Great margaritas. Friendly staff, full bar. Lovely vibe indoors, like a classy busy hustle and bustle restaurant. Maybe not the best for kids, but great for adults. Very expensive.

I wish I could give a 10 star rating to this restaurant. It is very rare that everything is perfect. This dinner certainly was perfect. The food (very attentive to gluten free requests), the service and the outdoor atmosphere was all so perfect. We did not want to leave! It is also a very short, easy drive from Wilmington. We will be back soon.

Loved it! We were there for a very special Valentine's date. We had the BTs chicken, and fresh Mahi. Then shared the strawberry tiramisu. Waitress was great, atmosphere and all. The food was fresh and hot and an added special with the Mahi was a vegetable blend not like what I've had before... very pleasant to my taste buds and new with Mahi. Definitely will plan to return.

The food is as good as the beautiful restaurant it sits in. Very romantic place and the live music is the cherry on the top. I had the pineapple pork chops which was an excellent choice… & the spicy margarita… delicious.

Very good shrimp and grits. Wife said her sandwich was pretty good also. Was bit breezy outside but it was worth it. Will definitely be going back next time we are in town.

A top-tier eatery in a town of delicious food!!! Holy cow! Super friendly, attentive staff, nice ambiance, very pleasant inside. But the food, good lord the FOOD!! The calamari was absolutely tender and amazing. Every entree we got was so delicious, seafood was perfectly fried, the bison burger was perfect!

The star of the show was the Shrimp and Grits! My wife got this on the recommendation of our server as she was on the fence, because everything sounded so good. She let me try some and goodness GRACIOUS! Literally one of the best dishes I've ever tasted in my life! No hyperbole! The shrimp was cooked to perfection, the sauce was to die for, and the depth of flavor was absolutely sublime!
The menu is on the pricey side, but I assure you it is worth it and the quality is in the tasting!

We had an amazing experience for my 35th birthday. Being sober, it's hard to find places that offer NA beers. It was nice to have an option or two here. It was rather busy when we were here, but the service was great and the food was excellent!

One my top two restaurant picks from my visit to Carolina Beech. The calamari texture was *perfection* and went great with the Thai chili sauce. Will definitely be coming back here before I leave the area.

They also have dog friendly outdoor seating and treats for pups.

Food was great and service was excellent! Will definitely be going back in the future. Only issue we had was a small mishap on the Irish coffee after dinner but the staff was quick to resolve the problem. Overall great experience and food

Best restaurant on Carolina Beach - hands down! Everything about our meal there was fabulous from arrival to departure! Our group had the fish of the day, pork chops, and shrimp platter and it was all amazing - huge portions and all cooked to perfection. I'm only sorry that the only picture I took was of the dessert, which was so big the 3 of us couldn't finish it all!

Enjoyed a sunny day lunching on the patio! I was pleasantly surprised with the cauliflower tacos, which were deliciously filling. My companion enjoyed the super seafood combo.

The only downside was worrying about whether we'd put enough time on the parking app!

Also, you can save on the credit card fee by paying cash!

We came around 6pm on Saturday Eve. Waiting time was 10 minutes. Waiters were so welcome and nice. Food came in 10 minutes. Tuna was delicious. Fried rice with shrimps was a bit spicy but very tasty. Outside sitting was perfect. Have no idea why people are complaining.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Loved everything about this place. Best place around to eat. Super clean, plenty of room, excellent staff, great location. Nothing but praise! I got the the French quarter pasta and the wife got a key west chicken salad with pear vinaigrette.

Had lunch today, first time visit and will definitely return to try more menu items. Nice old cottage turned into a nice restaurant with good selections and generous portions. There is ample indoor and outdoor dining with beautiful landscaping, flowers and flowering shrubs for your view. Started with crab dip - excellent and lots of it with fresh hot crispy naan bread. I had the shrimp basket with cole slaw and fries and had to get a small take out box as it was a full basket. Wife had sandwhich and crab soup - nice. So many good selections to choose from. Service was quick and pleasant and decent prices. Wish I had room for dessert as the Bananas Foster, Key Lime pie, and cheesecake was tempting. Parking is available on the street and the meters take coin or card. You can also text in and pay for parking so fairly easy but it is $10 for two hours. See you there soon!

We have been here a few times and each time is great. Friendly staff, great food, nice atmosphere.

Prices are normal for a nice beach town restaurant.

Loved the vibe of this place. The food was pretty good, I personally loved the fish tacos. Only complaint is that the bathroom is only one room. There was a line outside the mens cause one dude was battling some demons in there.
