Olde Salty

Ive been coming to Carolina beach for awhile and have always been in a hurry or not hungry when I pass by. Its easily overlooked but so glad I slowed down this evening. I ordered the Mahi bites and fish and chips and it was amazing! I ordered to go but in the short wait the owner and regulars were super friendly and reminded me why I love this town!

This place was wonderful! Delicious food and amazing service - but make sure to go to their new address, 11 Boardwalk Ave, Suite 140, Carolina Beach. Highly recommend!

The food was fantastic! I was a bit worried after reading reviews but gave it a try anyways, and wasn’t disappointed! The crab legs were every bit as good as Micheals and the steamed shrimp were even better! My husband go the fried shrimp and loved it as well! They were a bit short staffed, but service was still very good …

2022* they are still open just moved to the boardwalk!

Small restaurant, maybe 10 tables. The food was delicious!! The server was friendly. We will definitely be back!

Hands down the best crab legs and shrimp I've had on this side of the globe.. considering COVID and the off season these were still incredibly fresh and absolutely cooked to perfection. Aside from the food the atmosphere is outstanding, the server/bartender was very attentive and super friendly. After eating dinner there we felt just like family. If you are anything like me and love to find the small town gems in a town instead of going to a chain restaurant this is absolutely the place to go! This is now on my must visit list any time I come back to the area.

Food and customer service was great!! Not too pack like most other popular seafood joints. Feels like home away from home, lay back environment. Will recommended!!

Adult place. Lovely service, fresh and straight up deloicious seafood, good drinks (cheap, strong, selection). What's not love?

Had the fried shrimp and flounder. Shrimp were big and perfect, 2 dark side flounder fillets perfect, fried okra perfect, and green beans too full to even judge. Service was spot on. Pricing was reasonable. Last night in current location so amazing pricing on beer. Karaoke was fun.

Very friendly place. We sat on the open balcony area. Waitress was great. Locals were friendly. Food was fantastic. We ate - okra, beans, shrimp Po boy, fried green tomatoes, and fried oysters. Awesome food. We will definitely come back if we're in the area.

Really nice staff. Initially thought we’d sit outside so they cleared us a table from a couple who had just left; however after being seated only a few minutes we decided inside would be better due to the humidity. It was early still so the place was mostly empty inside and they had no issue accommodating us. Somehow the kitchen mistook an order of chicken Florentine for chicken fingers but I went with it. The fingers were crisp but tasty. Wife’s hamburger steak was delicious and perfectly juicy. Cooked well done as requested but not charred in the least. It melted in the mouth and hours later I’m still salivating thinking about it. Kids wolfed down their burgers without complaint so I assume they were delicious too. The manager checked on us and recommended a new place for ice cream. Very friendly people so I’m giving them five stars despite the chicken mix up.

We had a great time. No wait. Great service. Our waitress was wonderful and we had a blast. So many local NC beers on tap. Great prices. Will definitely be visiting again.

Food was really good and affordable. Everyone there was really outgoing and friendly, to include the other customers.. It had the vibe that everyone knew each other and all are welcome. My daughter had a blast dancing and playing.. A very family friendly place.. We will definitely be back..

We were with a large group to watch fireworks (awesome location!) and enjoy Carolina Beach nightlife. The waitstaff was polite, accommodating and flexible. Nice place to grab a bite and eat on a comfy outdoor patio. Two thumbs up.

Food was amazing, staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! Even though they had a limited menu the service, atmosphere and food did not fall short. Family friendly environment, great music selection...I definitely recommend and will be back!

This place is awesome!! The employees are all helpful, polite and friendly. Our experience was so good that we took our son and his friend back the next day. The food is excellent and the beer is cold. Don't miss it!!

We love Olde Salty's! It's within walking distance of the beach. The bartender is so nice, and the drinks are always tasty. They do an awesome karaoke on Friday nights that we always go to. Prices are very reasonable!

Loved Olde Salty! Lori and her team are so welcoming and make you feel at home! Food was awesome! Wish I could give this more than 5 stars! Best place to go in Carolina Beach! Can't wait to go back!
