Gulfstream Restaurant

Yum!! We came here for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. Interior it's like a dinner with a beach theme. Given that you can see the marina while eating, the beach then certainly fits. The bacon was perfectly crisp without being overcooked. The biscuits.... Oh my. So good! They're reminiscent of my grandmother's. My husband loved his omelet. The service was wonderful. Our waiter was attentive and the food came quick.

We were visiting Carolina Beach off-season and will definitely come back during season!

We love dining here at “our spot” for breakfast or lunch when we visit Carolina Beach. The servers are always friendly and attentive plus the food is delicious. My favorite is the western omelet for breakfast and fried shrimp for lunch.

Best breakfast ever the french toast was out of bounds‼ The biscuits were fresh from scratch the eggs were great and fluffy the smoked sausage was so unique and great and the creamy grits were to die for! They treated us like family very welcoming and kind‼

Wow 🤩 breakfast was Amazing 🤩 This place is a nice friendly spot where locals and first timers like me go for a nice breakfast. Now I can eat but I could not eat all of my food this morning. Nice serving size and the waitresses were so kind. I will be back again. Go check them out if you’re in the area.

Great place for Breakfast. Everything we ordered was fresh and hot. The service was really good even though they were working the whole restaurant. This place is cash only so go prepared.

This place is perfect. Awesome location very walkable and on the waterish. Great diner food cooked to order and the staff is adorable.

Delicious biscuit, very creamy grits. Solid breakfast. Not a fan of the smoked sausage, but it's not a deal breaker. Java Jeff coffee served here, which is very good. The eggs Benedict was very good. Cash only and they have an ATM.

Unfair, perhaps, since I've lived here for over 15 years....but it's our Go-To-Breakfast and sometimes Lunch. The long term Wait Staff (some over 20 years) are "ON IT!" and Dependable. Sometimes that is just as important as the Food. It's our Islands place to see and hook up with neighbors and Friends. Come and join in.

Went here for breakfast while visiting, really enjoyed it. We got avocado toast, and the crab and Swiss omelet with a side biscuit. The omelet was full of crab meat, super delicious and we put it on top of the avocado toast. Becca was our server and was knowledgeable, prompt and very sweet! Would recommend this place to anyone staying in this area looking for a quick, tasty, and affordable breakfast stop.

Nice little beach restaurant. We were there for breakfast. There were several people there but there was no line or waiting which was good for us. I got the Fajita omelet. It was good but a little dry. Just FYI they only take cash 💸 but they have an ATM machine inside.

Outstanding food and service. This is an old school restaurant that believes in service and awesome food. Reminds me of diners my family went to when I was young. We will definitely be coming back.

Came here for brunch and was incredibly pleased with the service and food. Pam and Jennifer were so kind and made my experience 10x better. Plus the food made me feel like i was witnessing the second coming of christ

Family friendly restaurant, large portions of delicious food, endless refills of our sodas and coffee, friendly staff. Reminds me of the diners back home in NJ. Highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely return when we’re back in the area!!

Gulfstream is my favorite restaurant on the island. I've been coming here since 2012. You can always count on a friendly face and a delicious meal.

I usually dine here for breakfast or lunch, but they also service dinners. Everything is fresh. And I love the atmosphere and nice people.

As usual Breakfast was delicious! And their coffee is always fresh!

Excellent breakfast all made from scratch. The hollandaise sauce was wonderful and the eggs cooked perfectly. The potatoes were cut by hand and sauteed to perfection. Highly recommend.

Many of the servers have been there for years, so there are always friendly faces!
However, Cash Only, so be prepared for that!

Decided to switch it up for breakfast and try Gulfstream.

My wife's eggs and bacon were simple, but exactly what she was looking for. She asked for crisp bacon, and it came out just as ordered.

I had the pork chops paired with two nicely cooked sunny side up eggs, and home fries. Good seasoning, lots of flavor. Noticed they had tzatziki sauce as an accompaniment to another item on the menu, so I asked for a side of it to go along with my chops. It was very fresh and delicious, and really went well with the dish.

Server was very friendly and upbeat.

Would go back again!
