The selection of fudge, icecream and cakes are phenomenal. They also have a good selection of jams and candy. We met William and he had the best patience with us while we were trying to make our selections. I got Chocolate Rum cake and Golden Rum cake/nuts. DELICIOUS. Also purchased Pumpkin Pecan and Cookies and cream fudge. AND, Pineapple jam 😋

Fantastic addition to the island with super welcoming owners! When you walk in you are immediately greeted with a warm welcome and provided with information about all the yummy treats! I purchased a few flavors of fudge for a girls night- everyone devoured! Will be back sooner than later!

So glad we happened to go in this place when I was having a sweet tooth craving. Immediately upon entering, the older gentleman working warmly greeted us and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and appreciated- he thanked us for coming in - which is something you don’t get anywhere anymore unfortunately. He was very attentive to our needs and what kind of cake we were wanting to try and even offered samples of the delicious banana nut bread and fudge. Let me just say - nobody beats my moms homemade fudge - but this one was right up there. Every fudge I’ve ever tried anywhere else is always hard, dry and tasteless - but not this one! It was good and I will look forward to getting it next time but we were already buying a cake , as that’s what we were craving. We got the yellow cake with chocolate icing and it was delicious- especially the icing. We also bought a loaf of the banana bread and the golden rum cake to eat in our hotel room for breakfast and they both were out of this world !
I can’t say enough good things about this place but I will say this- GO!! You won’t be disappointed in the least - especially the nice old fashioned service with a smile ! Much appreciated! A++++

Absolutely love! I have finally been able to make it in and try their incredible fudge. I loved it so much I left with 6 different fudge flavors, banana bread and of course their delicious apple butter. The customer service is beyond incredible and you truly feel so welcome when you go in. I will be sure to make a stop there every time I’m in town!

Absolutely amazing, you NEED to stop by if you’re in Carolina Beach! The owner was very, very kind and courteous with customers. I was greeted happily when I walked in and immediately offered samples. While sampling, I was talking to the owner who told me that this is a family shop with family made goods. The ice cream was absolutely delicious and we ended up going home with 2 fudges after sampling (along with a pie)! He even warned me to not store my fudge in the fridge as it can get dry, I was going to put it in the fridge so I was thankful for the advice! Prices are very fair considering everything is homemade and the bathrooms are quite clean. I will definitely be returning when I come back to Carolina Beach!

We stopped by close to closing and walked in with a warm greeting from William! He told us the backstory of Nancy Jo’s and gave us some fudge samples. Best fudge I’ve ever had! New favorite sweet shop, for sure!

Stumbled upon this place during a spontaneous trip to Carolina Beach and it exceeded all expectations. We were warmly welcomed by an amazing man named William who made us feel right at home. He made our entire day and trip just by his kindness and recommendations. After offering us many samples of delicious fudge, we decided on three of their homemade cakes which were outstanding! We will be sure to visit William again and this awesome business next time we’re in town! 10/10 recommend 😊

We walked in and were immediately greeted by who I’m guessing was the owner. He gave us some fudge samples and gave us some time to look around. When we were checking out he engaged us in conversation and gave us a welcome to Carolina beach. Haven’t even tried the pie yet but if it is half as good as the customer service, it’ll be the best pie I’ve ever had.

Nancy Jo's had the best ice cream ever! Our favorites were Birthday Cake, Crazy Vanilla, Salted Carmel Truffle, and Key Lime! Everyone should go here for a tasty treat! Written by a very satisfied 7 year old customer!

Great ice cream !! My family and myself came for vacation to Carolina Beach and on our way back home we wanted ice cream but didnt want to pay for parking pass so we drove beyond and found this place , and we stopped here. Great ice cream homemade . William was talkative and very nice to us. We will return again

What a welcoming environment! The owners are super kind and extremely helpful….. and the Strawberry Cake is AMAZING! Grab some cake by the slice and some amazing fudge as well!

Family owned by wonderful people, who treat their customers like old friends. amazing from- scratch recipes that taste delicious. It’s a little slice utopia, so we have to visit every time to go to Carolina Beach.

We stopped in while visiting my stepkids and didn’t know what to expect. We left with ice cream, a slice of cake, and some fudge. Everything was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be stopping in anytime we are in town. They have a great selection of candy, cakes, fudge, ice cream and more! Can’t wait to try it again.

The Owner was super Welcoming from the minute we walked in! The baked goods are amazing and the ice cream just as great! My kids fully enjoyed their experience here which made me even more happy that we decided to stop. He gives out free crosses (super cute and thoughtful!) AND they have free parking! Definitely deserves 10 stars!

Having already read the reviews for Nancy Jo's before traveling to Kure Beach, we had a good idea what to expect. We had absolutely NO idea just how terrific this place really is! Oh, sure, the baked goods, candy, ice cream and nuts are phenomenal. But the real gem you'll find in Nancy Jo's is William, the owner! Knowledgeable, friendly and courteous, William stayed a full 15 minutes AFTER closing time, just to chat with us about the beach, baking and family. A wonderful Carolinian! Thanks, William, for your gracious hospitality . . . and delicious fudge (all 3 flavors we purchased!) Hope you finally get to visit Hershey, PA soon!

The BEST lemon ice cream I've ever had! And such wonderful people! This is a must visit when we come down on vacation.

Walked by this place yesterday and the amazing smell made me turn around! They have so much to choose from! Homemade cakes, pies, fudge, cookies, cake, ice cream and that’s not even half of it!! I got the chocolate fudge pie and I wasn’t disappointed!! The owners were extremely friendly! You don’t get service like that just anywhere these days! This is a family owned business at all the locations. We will be visiting again!
