THE best donut you will ever have. Literally melts in your mouth. You haven’t had a true Carolina Beach experience if you haven’t tried Britt’s. You won’t be disappointed!

An absolute classic. I’ve been going to Britts since 2011 but it’s been there since 1939 I believe and I’m sure they don’t need this review but I do it more so other people who have never been make it a point to go! They sell one type of donut: glazed. And only accept cash. The wait is worth it. They are made to order and I think I’d go everyday if I lived nearby. I sadly had 5 donuts in one sitting but you can’t blame me. Anyways, go and order a cup of milk. Totally worth the workout later.

The donuts which are only paid with in cash are 100% worth it! Go! Right now! And eat them nice and warm so they melt in your mouth! There's usually a line in the mornings and at night but its not too bad in the afternoon and it goes quick but expect to wait. Always look forward to eating here when I'm visiting from out of town

A must try when at Carolina Beach! The best way to eat these is immediately while hot. They are nothing special once they have cooled down. Also, be aware that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH. The line goes really quickly, so don’t let the line scare you off. They only sell glazed donuts, so your only options are how many you are buying (single donut, half a dozen or dozen) Enjoy 🍩 🤤

Decent donuts. They come out hot and are light and airy. They were a little busy, there were about 5 or 6 orders in front of me and it was about a 10 to 15 minute wait, which was less than the cashier told me. If you like your donuts cooked to order and don't mind the wait, this is the place for you!

Man I could eat a whole bag in like 2 min, Literally lol. These donuts 🍩 freaking melt in your mouth. If you buy a a dozen, don’t say you weren’t warned.

Very plain and simple donuts. They had that doughy texture hitting perfection!

We ordered six and they all came out hot and fresh. Very small space so if you have a party it’s best to just order, grab and walk down and sit on some benches.

I am not a big donut person my husband wanted to try these and OH. MY. GOD. They were delicious! Warm and fresh. Almost the taste of cronuts if you’ve had them. And they don’t leave you feeling heavy with grease!

Britts is a CASH ONLY company so keep that in mind before placing your order. I highly recommend them, only thing I wish is that we would have gotten 4 dozen instead of two. This place absolutely is better than any donuts that I've gotten anywhere, I highly recommend and will be back as we visit the beach regularly.

They truly are the best donuts I've ever had. Fresh made and served hot. This a CASH ONLY business. There's an ATM just to the right if you need it. The left entrance is for order placing and the right entrance is for order pickup. There will most likely be a long line but it does move fast.

Am so glad it was open when i went,though google says its closed,took the chance and lucky. It was open when i went in the first week of Jun 2023 till 10pm.
The donuts were sooooo good, freshly made and still warm to touch. Fluffy and moist and a good balance of glazing, i went back to buy 3 times the same hour after i finished each one😆 Staff were very friendly and you could see them making the doughnuts in the open kitchen.
Definitely one of the best doughnuts i've ever eatten and a must go if you're in the area.

Still the best donuts in Carolina Beach, and my favorite donut place in the whole country. They only serve donuts, and only take cash.

Hot sugar so sweet! You can smell the doughnuts and expect a long line. It was not too bad today. Only a 20 min wait. We have waited in line for an hour to get these warm and sweet desserts. Yummy!! The outside has a little crunch but the inside is soft. Yummy!!

For a classic 1950’s style donut you can’t beat Britts! We were turned onto this place by a friend. These hand made donuts were delicious and reasonably priced.

Lots of air pockets within the donut. A sweet glaze. It was definitely a classic.

This a local must visit spot. The only decision to make is how many since they only make one kind of donut that is the best donut on Earth and possibly the universe. You have to eat them as soon as you get them while they are hot and melt in your mouth. They do have coffee and soda if you need something to wash them down with.
