El Cazador Carolina Beach

My first time eating at El Cazador and it won’t be my last! We were promptly greeted at the door and seated immediately. A minute later the chips and salsa arrived at our table. We ordered the fresh guacamole and split a shrimp fajita quesadilla with rice. Large portions and it was so delicious! Server took great care of us too.

Okay, i was a little worried from the outside that it may be "too" busy for us. But my son loves nachos, so we went in anyway and im glad we did. My son has autism and his order is usually customized, which I know can cause an issue, depending on where we eat. However, they customized his order perfectly, checked with the cooks to ensure they could make my sons food the way i explained, and came back and said "we can make his food however you want". I will be returning❤ my son ate really well. I order seafood soup and my son had beef nachos. Our waiter wouldnt let me leave out with my togo boxes in my hand, although I was okay carrying it. He bagged it up and placed it on my arm.

I loved the place near the beach, the restaurant is large, very nice, the food was good, the atmosphere is pleasant

Exactly what you want when you're looking for authentic Mexican food near Carolina Beach. The wait staff was lovely and accommodating, then I read a story about the history. And would like to know more about what happened to Pedro. Thoroughly enjoyed all of our meals. Would definitely recommend

I recently placed a take out order for 20 people and it was awesome! Diego the owner personally handled it on his day off - the customer service and food were fantastic! I’d highly recommend using them for your next event!

We were here on a Friday night with a party of 6. We waited about 25 minutes, which wasn't too bad. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The burritos were so big that none of us could finish them. The Carne Asada was very tender and had such great flavor. The service was wonderful and our waiter was very attentive.

Amazing service, amazing food, and a great Mother’s Day deal. I will come again when I am on vacation. Very big space. Definitely a place you would have to take your mother to.

The restaurant was packed with customers however they were very attentive and made sure our group was servers on timely manners. The servers were patient and welcoming. Started with tortilla chips and sauce. The sauce they serve with the chips Just as the ad said "Fajita muy bueno" tried their steak Fajita and it did not let me down.The rice and beans side came with my Fajita were perfectly seasons and full of flavors. I ordered corn tortillas with my Fajita but I got white tortillas which I thought were flour. Upon asking the server I discovered they use white corn for their tortillas which I had not experienced before, a brief educational moment I must say. Over all, a very good experience at Carolina Beach would definitely come again.

Awesome Mexican at the beach. Everything we got was great. If you're a Mexican fan, this place is great to go to.

The bean dip with queso and pico de gallo was outstanding.

My husband got the carne asada burrito enchilada style. He said it was better than the place we go back home. It was massive. I got choripollo which was awesome.

Great experience! Strong drinks and good food. Only got a photo of the Bandit burrito which was a huge portion but the Barilla tacos were delicious as well.

We come here every year. Everything tastes great! Eating on the open balcony overlooking the street is a nice experience!

I thought I was getting two quesadillas but it was a large one with both the chicken and steak.

The service was awesome. The food came a little slow, but it probably takes a helluva long time to put it all together.

It is a bit dark where we were sitting, but eventually the eyes adjust. The people watching from our window was stellar as well.

The food as always was excellent and Beatriz, our waitress was very friendly and nice. Thank you Beatriz for making the whole experience enjoyable. Will definitely always recommend this place for it's great food and service. See you next time!!

I had the birria, and it was 100% on point. The service was amazing. My only complaint would be the lighting. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in town.

My new favorite restaurant! We FINALLY found a Mexican restaurant that we like. My son & I recently moved to the area from Houston and have had the HARDEST time finding a Mexican restaurant that we actually like. Mexican food is my favorite. So it's been very disappointing. El Cazador DID NOT disappoint. Great food! Great drinks! Great atmosphere! And OUTSTANDING service! I can't wait to go back. 😋

We waited for about 30 minutes to be seated and I can say that I am beyond happy that stayed, the food was good and the service was stunning, we had multiple servers but only got one name "melo", he was so nice and caring. I am glad we went to this restaurant for my birthday! I had a very good time. I will definitely come back whenever I am around. We had margaritas, "el jefe especial" y "mojarra frita" for food (see pictures), you can't leave without trying their flan, I loved it!!!! Thank you guys.

The food was delicious. Service was great. Everyone was so friendly. Large portions. The rice was unique and delicious. I would eat here again. It felt like the menu had a lot of additional options other than your basic Mexican restaurant menu. I like trying new things and their menu gave you the opportunity to do so.

One of the best prices on Wilmington Tropical Lightening in all of Wilmington at $4.50 a glass it's $10 everywhere else and you can get a 32oz mug for $12. Food is good prices too. I've been a regular there for 2 years I try to go once or twice a week. Prices are better here than at Taco Bell.

Service was bad, but the food was so good I had to give it five stars. The best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. Even the rice was out of this world- flavorful, soft and fluffy. I can’t remember the name of what I ordered, but it was chicken on a bed of rice covered in cheese dip. I added shrimp. I ordered a 1/2 portion so I’m sure the regular portion is huge.
