Frida's Mexican Restaurant

Fantastic food. Great service. The nachos (chicken) were some of the best I've ever eaten. The street corn was perfect. The street tacos were great, but the nachos are 10/10. Not shown: the delicious deep fried ice cream we finished first.

I had some friends drop in from out of town...and we stopped in for a few drinks with some chips, salsa and queso!!!

The margaritas were on point and the chips were super fresh...but the best part was the quest dip with chorizo...which complimented the salsa perfectly.

I'm looking forward to going back for dinner sometime soon.

First time eating at Frida's and dang I'm so happy we are getting the chain up here in the NC area! It was so good. The decorations and ambiance was also great. Definitely will return if I'm ever back in Daytona area.

The Birria Quesadilla is incredible, and you'll definitely love the Street Corn Bowl. It's a plate all It's own, a solid nine out of ten. I'll definitely be back again!

Loved the trio. The service was fast and quick we'll never run out of anything to drink the food was amazing good company and great friends the artwork on the walls phenomenal. I can't find enough good things to say about this place. Really enjoyed our time there. Service Staff was on time and seen to all of our need. Quickly and efficiently. A great experience all the way around.

Amazing food for cheap prices!
The prices are a lot cheaper than other places, but don't worry, the quality and quantity is still amazing! We've been here a few times and love everything we get, we even tried the challenge burrito. I highly recommend this place!

I love this restaurant. The food is amazing, the service is top notch, and all of the art and decor is unique and beautiful. They also offer dining on the deck.

We stumbled on this place on a Taco Tuesday and we were hooked, going back again the following Tuesday. The tacos are really unique and you can’t beat the specials prices. The margarita flight is a nice add-on to complete the experience.

I found it to be authentic and eclectic... I had the Birria tacos filled to the brim with melt in your mouth brisket (served on homemade corn tortillas) saffron rice and a wonderful dipping sauce... Everything was out of this world delicious... My friend had three enchiladas two beef one chicken with saffron rice and beans... There was plenty of food to eat and both of us have leftovers... The service was fantastic and the servers were attentive... For me when I want Mexican food I will head on over to Frida's 😋

My wife and I went there for the first time recently during the Christmas parade. The place was a madhouse but the service was still fabulous and the food came out quickly and it was excellent! They have outdoor seating which was perfect for watching the parade and we'll definitely be back. The service was excellent, too. Everyone was very accommodating and attentive.

Food for me is all about flavor and authenticity, and can find both of hem right here.
It's unfortunately so easy and common to find some ok/middle of the road Mexican restaurant, who do not give any credit to this very flavorful cuisine.
But here, from the pozole, to the barbacoa enchiladas, and the tamale just to mention few of the items we had for lunch, everything was right on.
I had a craving for some good, freshly made, tasty cuisine and Frida defenitly delivered it.
Not to mention the very kind and attentive service.
Oh I almost forgot, what a great cocktail "spicy rosa"

I was a little hesitant about going here at first because I wanted REAL Mexican food, after carefully looking at the pictures we decided to give it a try. I'm sooo glad we did, the service was great, the restaurant was really clean and overall nice, and the food; Delicious! I got the pork in salsa verde, which came with homeade tortillas not the fake packaged ones, rice and beans, my husband got the parrillada, the carnitas quesadillas, the kids carnitas burrito, and the seafood plate was ordered and everyone in our party LOVED their food and we had leftovers to take home. We had absolutely no complaints and we will definitely be back when we come down to visit again! I recommend. Edit 2 years later (end of June 2023); we visited again, I was disappointed. I ordered the same dish & compared to last time, this time it was not spicy & the tortillas I mentioned last time they were not packaged, well this time we went they are packaged corn tortillas. The food was just ok. My husband ordered the birria quesadilla & that was pretty good, service was still good.

Abel is a awesome server he took very good care of us and I have an infant with me and he made sure that my son was accommodated as well as us I appreciate his service I will be coming back and asking for him!!!

So glad this is finally open. Servers were phenomenal. Always checking and refilling. Table side guac is a must have! Food was piping hot and delicious. A little pricier than I usually spend at a Mexican style restaurant, but the food was a little fancier too. We had fajitas trio, a grilled skewer dish and the Mayan grilled salmon. All very good! Lots of healthy grilled options that you don’t see at a lot of Mexican restaurants. We will be back.

Well, this place is absolutely amazing. The cone tacos are epic and one of a kind! The bar area is absolutely gorgeous!! I don't think you can go wrong here! The margaritas are out of this world and the beer is ice cold. Do your self a solid and give it a shot. You'll be happy you did!!

Can’t get enough of Frida’s! Everything we have tried has been delicious. Everything seems fresh and flavorful. They have authentic, traditional dishes as well as new twists like kimchi tacos. 100% recommend.

I had an excellent experience at Frida's. I got a menudo soup and asada tacos and was delicious 🤤 the customer service was really good and I enjoyed it a lot, definitely I will go back.
