Mom, Please Ukrainian food

The food is delicious. I been to Ukraine several times and the food served here at Mom, Please Ukrainian Food is truly authentic😍 and I love it. The restaurant is well decorated and staffs are very friendly. I will definitely go back as often as I can❤❤

We just had the best time at this small Ukrainian diner! It's the coziest place ever, and the staff is so nice and friendly. But most importantly food—wow! The Ukrainian cuisine they serve is absolutely delicious. We had the most amazing dumplings that left me craving for more. Seriously, I can still taste them in my mouth!
Check out this place. You won't regret it!

Wow, what a nice surprise to find in our neighborhood. Legit and DELICIOUS Ukrainian food! The dumplings were delicious. Such good bread. Then the borscht, OMG, just the right chunkiness, with a pork rib that was to-die-for tender and delicious. Alas, our only disappointment was we were so full from that the main dishes and borscht, we could not try the delicious looking deserts. But, we did bring home an order of beef cabbage rolls (those, unfortunately are only available frozen, to go). The inside is cozy and friendly, whereas the outdoor patio is a nice setting, too. They also do catering, which I am excited to find a reason to use!

Really enjoyed our dine in meal. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Food was very tasty. They also have frozen food options to go. Service was very friendly. Replaced a food item when it came out with nuts that I was allergic to (but didn't seem listed on the menu) without any hesitation.

Prices were a little more expensive than other Eastern European restaurants I've tried in LA, but makes sense given the location. About $16-22 per plate. Parking was a challenge. There's disability parking right in front but otherwise seems street parking is the only choice. Although we parked in guest parking in one of the garages (not sure if that was allowed).

I haven’t had Ukrainian food since I was about 12yrs old. This made me feel like a child again eating food my Grandmother/Grandfather would have.

Food was outstanding. Atmosphere was chill and cozy like being in your home. Staff is great, friendly, genuine.

I’ll def be back.

I was working out at the gym and I drove past this place. I wanted to try it out. From looking at the menu I could already tell that there were options that I would enjoy. The lady at the counter told me to get the dumplings with potatoes in it and a mushroom sauce. I love mushrooms, so I knew that I would like this dish. Everybody needs to try this dish. I can’t wait to come back and try other options.

Very tasty with everything! Incredibly cool atmosphere, friendly and good-natured staff. My favorite is blinchiki with meat and mushrooms. It's a heartbreak - how delicious. I recommend to all! The best Ukrainian restaurant!

The best varenyky with cherries and cheese pancakes!!! Everything was so tasty and fresh. We enjoyed stylish interior, cosy vibe and were happy to meet so friendly girls, who work here! Will come back and recommend to all our friends😍 Best place for Ukrainian food!!

Enjoyed a genuinely fantastic meal on a brunch date with a friend. My favorite was varenyky with potatoes and my friend got the cabbage version. Both were delicious, well-seasoned, fresh and warm. Came with sour cream. Perfect comfort food. Also, ordered two nice hot lattes and Napoleon cake. I really loved the handmade look of the clay/stone mugs and plates!

Very charming, very clean, a rustic-chic atmosphere. Reminiscent of a cottage in the Ukrainian countryside, the interior was accented with wooden decor, dried flowers/plants, wicker basket light fixtures, and lovely patterned tiling. Easy parking, great area.

Service: Our servers were wonderful, very warm and helpful with recommendations. 10/10 will come back again.

Food was delicious! I couldn’t recommend it enough. We had the pancakes and Veriniki and both were amazing. Service was a little slow but it was busy and a Sunday afternoon.

Wow! The food was amazing. I ordered potato dumplings and cheese pancakes and enjoyed it so much. Stuff was nice and I absolutely loved their adorable pottery dishes.

Was so excited to find out there was a new authentic Ukrainian spot opening up in LA, and it’s everything I wanted and more! Starting with the cozy and quiet outdoorsy spot itself, the handmade clay dishware and Ukrainian music playing, I was immediately into the spot. When the food arrived, I inhaled everything from vareniki to blini and sirniki, everything was 10/10.
Obviously the people running this business love their authentic cuisine and they represent it beautifully in LA.
The staff was incredible as well, the two times I have come by, Katya was so friendly, helpful and overall lovely.
Highly recommend to those who are familiar with the place but also locals who have never tried authentic Ukrainian food 😍

Quiet little spot in playa vista that had some delicious Ukrainian dumplings. I got the chicken dumplings and my friend got vegetarian ones and we both really enjoyed the flavours but also how light it felt. Great spot!

I recently visited Mom Please and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming ambiance, with friendly staff that made me feel right at home.

Now, let's talk about the pizza. It was simply delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, with just the right amount of saltiness. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and well-balanced. One of the best pizza I've had in a long time. The chef did a great job! Bravo!

Beautiful restaurant with Ukrainian food . I received many satisfaction from food, service and place ❤

Seating outside (a few inside spots) in a quiet, less traveled area very near Ballona Creek and bike trails. A large, painted water fountain across the street in Fountain Park. The crepes, like blintzes, were delicate, light and tasty. There were several choices of filling. Many more hand made meals to eat there or bring home. They cater too.

It was fun to try Ukrainian dumplings for the first time. The food was well balanced in terms of flavors. The chicken wrapped in crepe was great as well.

Very delicious Ukrainian food and matcha latte.
Could eat all day all night here. Happy to have this place in area.
