Gelson's Marina Del Rey

Nice market. I love the setup inside they have a lot of stuff to sell. My favorite areas were the liquor and cheese sections plus employees are so nice... My only gripe was trying to find the market at 7 pm because it was down a flight of stairs that were dark. Very poor lighting, there doing some work in the front of the door so I was not sure if I was going to the correct place.

I recently called in a flower order for 2/14. Lori, the floral manager, did such an amazing job with this arrangement, and I could not be happier. About a week later, Lily's opening my apartment smells wonderful. I definitely recommend Gelson’s MDR to all of my friends on the west side they have the freshest flowers and produce. Say 👋 to Lori in the floral department on your way through.

Tons of parking for this grocery store. It took me a little while to find this store because it's located on the sub floor if this plaza. If you walk down the stairs next tot he escalator then you'll find it. The bakery has tons of options to choose from. I bought a lemon/almond poppy seed muffin. This is a pretty good grocery store so go check it out!

The bakery inside Gelson's Marina del Rey is amazing. The ladies at the bakery we're very helpful and knowledgeable, the croissants and all of their Bakery goods were very fresh and they have a selection that no other Gelson's has. If you have a sweet tooth and are in the area I suggest you go there before you go anywhere else because I guarantee you you'll find something that you like, great service with an amazing selection.

I arrived at Gelson's after 5 pm and the florist had gone home. A very nice young woman who was bagging helped me wrap my flowers. It was kind of her. She did not have to do this but she did it for me.

The Meat Dept Manager was so nice and accomodating! The check out associate was also extremely nice. The service is top notch in this store.

Although there are a couple of other grocery stores in the immediate area, I always select Gelson’s in the Marina. I continually receive curious service from excellently trained staff. Whether you need to know where a product is or suggestions regarding a product, someone is always available to help you. I’m an Events Director so I know excellent service and Gelson’s has never failed.

Although I do not shop here on a regular, the store is very clean and has a lot of products that are unique and hard to find.
We mainly frequent this Gelson's location for their baker. Love their baker. They have delicious sweet treats. If you have sweet tooth your going to want to try their bakery.

Went there to buy Wahlburgers, our family favorite hamburger patties. Freshness expiration was far into future. Yum!

Parking is easy. Employees are friendly and available to talk with. Great produce!

I will drop by Gelson whenever I have a desire to pick up fresh fish (I am particularly fond of their sushi preparations).

(Update) they no longer prepare the sushi and sashimi to order on site, and the quality has suffered. It is still good, but no longer what I would call excellent. And the selection has suffered a serious drop.

Clean, well-stocked store, very friendly staff

I always have a wonderful shopping experience here. The atmosphere is more relaxed than others grocery stores that feel overcrowded, loud and I rush to get out. I can take my time here and roam around. They have a lot of plant based products I love that, the deli is awesome. Only thing that is a bummer is the poor 🦞 lobsters 😔 in their tank.

Love this store, especially the one underground in the Marina del Rey.
