Sake Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar

Came for my birthday dinner and was not disappointed. The chef was funny and personable. Really good with kids as well. Food was delicious and the portions had us all bringing home leftovers. The staff was attentive and very helpful especially with my excited children who can be a little careless. Made for a great birthday. I definitely recommend trying out Sake for yourself.

My family had Hibachi tonight and I was very impressed with how the server handled my wife’s gluten allergy. They gladly offered gluten free Hibachi prepared on a separate grill for her. They also informed her of any other foods which would also have gluten, that you might not be aware of. It was a refreshing experience because many restaurants are not as friendly with allergies. Thank you for the great service and meal!

Went here with my kids for dinner, and was really impressed. The food was really good, and the display was amazing. We are a small town, so I did not expect the full show from the chef, like you would see at a resort, but there it was.

The staff was very friendly, and despite the fact that it was just the three of us, they still pulled out all the stops.

Pricing for what you get is also very reasonable. So if you like Japanese food, and you like a bit of a show, then Nagano is highly recommended

I visited this place with a friend for lunch recently, and I was pleasantly surprised, the food was very good! the rice was delicious. I opted for the vegetarian lunch specia,l with the sauteed vegetables and it was very very satisfying. I will definitely be going back soon.

We originally wanted to go and eat at Kampai at Web Gin but the wait was an hour. It was ridiculously long wait for dinner on a non holiday weekend. We started searching for other hibachi place. My husband found this place Sake Japanese Steakhouse at Grayson Highway. At first, we got worried because there were hardly any cars around, and made us wonder what's wrong with the place. But when we came in it was a a great experience. Staffs were friendly, the portions are huge, and its delicious! I love the ginger dressing in the salad. Guess what? NO WAIT! If you are looking for a hibachi place, Come try this place! It's awesome!

THE BAD: The size of the sushi seemed slightly undersized (not pieces, but height/width of each piece). No kids menu for lunch option (only dinner).
THE GOOD: The hibachi presentation was clever. We've been to many, but the chef had some new 'spins' to typical flair/tricks (also very interactive). Service was fast & the lunch portions seemed like dinner size. The prices were reasonable for a hibachi restaurant ($65 for party of 4).

The service was amazing and we were greeted by everyone when we walked in. The menu has a great variety to choose from. The drinks are a great price; try the plum wine. I will definitely be going back.

The staff here are always polite. The food is good even if you order to go. My son’s favorite food is hibachi fried rice and steak. For my picky eater to always choose to eat here it says a lot.

Came here for my birthday dinner and I loved it! Everyone was so friendly and our food was so fresh and such good quality. I had been here before for sushi many times in the past and always enjoyed it then! I’m glad to see it’s still a great place.

We decided after some time to give this place another shot, since we did always enjoy the food. So glad we did because the staff this time around is great and that person we had issues with no longer works there. Also the food and portion was fantastic!

I love that we live so close to our favorite sushi place. Very fairly priced menu but the best part is the amount of fish in the tuna roll. Just look at it!

Best fried rice and sushi from Atlanta to Athens!! Chicken is never dry. Sushi is always fresh. I have been coming here since I was in high school. Now, my husband and I come a couple times a month. Owner and family are very kind. If an order gets messed up, they will happily fix it. Sometimes service is a little slow because of short staffing, but the food makes up for it all the way. Absolutely love this restaurant and the staff!!!

We celebrated my nephew's birthday with sushi and hibachi at Sake Japanese Steakhouse. The super volcano roll was exactly what we were looking for and all the food was delicious from the miso soup, to the salad with ginger sauce and the hibachi. My wife thought the yum yum sauce was legit!

Got the spicy tuna roll to go. It was ready for pickup within 5 minutes of ordering and it was delicious. I will definitely be coming back!
