Kure Memorial Lutheran Church

We are adoptive parents of 5 kiddos with Down syndrome and one of our girls had a bit of a toileting emergency. Our van was parked right in front of the church and as I prepared to change her in the van - it was 90+ degrees - I noticed the sign outside the church saying the church was open and welcomed all to enter. I went inside in hopes of finding a bathroom. Didn't see a bathroom but the man working in the church stopped what he was doing and opened up a restroom so I could change my daughter. This Church lives Christ's command of service in love! Thank you so very much much!

Pastor Dan is awesome. Everyone in our family loves the ocean and have been visiting the Carolina and Kure Beach area for most of our lives. Our nephews spent a good deal of their life growing up and surfing in and around KB, but eventually moved away. Now, several members of our family have moved to or back into the area. After retiring, my wife and I purchased a vacation place in KB. As we began to spend more time in the area, our nephew and his wife invited us to visit Kure Memorial Lutheran Church, and now we visit most every Sunday when we're in the area. We thoroughly enjoy the outdoor services during the warmer Sun-Days, and Pastor Dan has made us feel very welcome. His sermons and love of his members and visitors, especially the children's program, have been incredible. I highly recommend you visit.
