Russo's Motel

Stayed here off season and had a very good time. Room was clean, very nice sized, beds although kinda creaky were comfy (I did bring my own pillows). It was nice and quiet. Its super close to the beach which is always a plus. Bob the owner is a really nice guy who always greets you with a smile when he sees you which is nice. Motel is across the street from a small store which is very convienent. Super close to many local shops and restaurants. All within walking distance. Overall we had a great stay and if we are in the area again we will be back! Thank you Bob again for everything 👍

Great friends who care about your welfare. Visit was astonishing. Would love to go there on a 550 mthly bases.
Anyone who states different... Has alot of issues.
Never saw a bug, place was clean.. could have used a little more; towels but I was greatful.

Cheap rates during season no 5 star but had fresh linen and towels ...reasonable rates pets allowed

This place is great! Talk about a great location... this is right where you want to be. The folks are so nice too.

I'm giving this motel 3 stars. First of all everywhere was book 100%. We had no choice. The appearance of the hotel isn't great, especially when you approach the office and there are a couple of weird characters hanging out on the porch like they are family. We read the reviews and wanted to cancel before seeing it but like I said, we had no choice. We decided to check the room. Beds were not bad at all. The box Springs and mattress were encased in zippered covers, the sheets were brand new looking and we check for bedbugs and saw no sign of anything. We decided to stay. This place was the cheapest in town at $159/night. It was a bare bones room. Tiny shower, toilet and tiny sink. No furniture but 2 beds, wifi, a college size frig/freezer, with a microwave on top and a flat screen TV on the wall. That's it. It's a 3 minute to the to the beach, boardwalk and the entertainment. Good dining nearby. The Deck steaks are superb, Kate's Pancake House was awesome. We just walked everywhere, its that close. Russo's Motel is a barebones motel just good for a good nights sleep, but it's nothing like "others" have described. We heard the previous manager got fired and had his people write really bad reviews. I believe it now. However I do have to say the floors could have been cleaner for sure. The pool was just perfect.

Wasn't many in the area that had vacancies. This hotel was one who did, we stopped, barely anyone there which we loved. Tiny rooms, but they were clean. Beds needs some attention, very uncomfortable and noisey, even after every move my 2 year old made, you could hear it. Walls are super thin, could hear every convo next door to ours. Wonderful location, everything within walking distance. Pool was okay, was greenish colored and very warm. overall not a terrible experience but do not think they should charge $159/a night for a bare minimum room. More like 99/a night. Would we stay again,? yes if their rates went down considering the room was not worth 168/a night (taxes included)
