Hurricane Alley's

Top floor has the best view of the beach, boardwalk and amusement rides. This was the first restaurant we ate at when we arrived in Carolina Beach. They worked with me for substituting chips instead of pita bread for the dip to make it gluten friendly. The afternoon we went was the last Sunday of their summer jazz series. Great music!

Stopped in for a few drinks on a Friday afternoon. The service was very nice and quick! Loved the upstairs view! That's a huge winner!!

Hurricane Alley's was the first place we checked out on our first day of our vacation. We ended up going there twice over the span. The top floor is a great view of the fair and ocean. There's a nice breeze and relaxed atmosphere up there. The Southwest chicken rolls were delicious! As were the hushpuppies- make sure to pair them with the honey butter because it was amazing. The flounder taco had crispy breading, however the flavor was pretty bland. Overall it was an excellent experience. FYI as of posting this, they don't do to-go orders! But you can eat there and take leftovers out which is a bit weird.

We came here for a few drinks and a quick bite and ended up staying for hours. Good beach bar vibes, fun drinks (like their fish bowl), and the food was definitely above-average quality. Also, they have a cool deck on their second floor so you can see the beach and feel the breeze. We will definitely be coming back 😎.

We loved Hurricane Alley’s! We ate here several times during our stay in Carolina Beach. It’s on the boardwalk, close to the beach, and delicious. You can’t go wrong with the Peel and Eat Shrimp and the Ahi Tuna Board is fantastic! The staff is super friendly, even during a downpour! A must try in Carolina Beach!

We arrived shortly after 9:30pm for something to eat and drink. Somewhere around 9 they switched to a "late night" menu which still had some good items to choose from. They were out of a few things at the time that bummed us out, but we chose the southwest egg rolls and hush puppies. Both were delicious and didn't make us regret choosing them. The bartenders were friendly and quick to respond to us. The outdoor seating was great as well.

Yeah we dined in for lunch last Friday during our stay at the Hampton Inn. We sat on the upper deck facing the ocean. The food and service was awesome!

We went here after checking into our hotel room and just chose the closest spot! So lucky to have stopped - the food was great! Live music and the best atmosphere! Highly recommend sitting upstairs with the view of the ocean!

We had such a great meal and even better service, a huge thank you to Brittany, Brandon, and Kate for the excellent care. ( best wings on the island ! )

So we had only drinks there but the bar service was fantastic! We've been down all weekend and I hadn't been able to find mojitos anywhere !(most places were just out of mint ) but PAIGE the bartender and her bar back came through with some fresh mint leaves after originally telling me they were out ! I couldn't have been more grateful ! I order several DIFFERENT drinks from PAIGE, each one was pretty good tasting AS WELL AS strong enough to give you a bang for your buck ! This place has a phenomenal welcoming bartender, as well as providing live music on weekends(diverse selection) , and a great ocean view open air bar service. Being a mixed couple we usually experience varying responses from staff but after initially sitting at the end of the bar PAIGE welcomed to scoot on down right Infront of her . Not only was she so prompt with providing our drinks but we really appreciated her asking to move down

Brittany was fantastic. Super friendly and welcoming. Kyle was funny and engaging. The food was delicious and fairly priced. I will definitely return!

We had such an amazing time , was like having a private romantic date, we ordered our food and drinks at the bar with the bartender which was very accommodating and let us substitute one of the items from the pot steamer that either of the two of us did not like.
We grabbed our drinks and went upstairs to the roof top, was a bit windy but beside that was a great view, atmosphere and music, which because was windy the whole top roof was empty. When the food arrived was hot and juicy and super flavorful and the bartender ask us if we needed anything and went back downstairs.
About 15-20 min later she returned to check on us and how everything was if we needed anything else.
We ordered a funnel cake fries(which were so yummy!!!) And because today was St. Patty day we ordered an Irish car bomb shoots, she informed us that unfortunately they ran out of guiness but has several other drinks suggestions. We picked one of the three she told us and was so good. Definitely will be a place we will return too whenever in town!!! They have made it to the top of our list to places to eat at when in Carolina Beache!!!!!

Hanging out in Carolina Beach 🌴 for about a week and a half and this beautiful little place is right down the Boardwalk from where we're staying.
They have a really cool menu and of course CRAB DIP 🦀
Curtis went for the Caesar with grouper and the category 5 hurricane.
I'm on a mission to try many crab dips as possible while we're here.
We both agree that so far (3 down now) , this one is our favorite.

Great spot on the beach Super busy but staff handled the crowd very well. Had the smash burger which was very good! The service was outstanding! If you go there I hope you get Linsey as your waitress. Very hard working and attentive to everything we needed. I will return to H.A. anytime I return to Carolina Beach!

We came in off the beach to cool down and grab some food. Brittany was amazing the peel & eat shrimp was cooked perfectly. We did check out the upstairs just to look at the view. Great experience can't wait to comw back on my next visit to Wilmington!

Such a welcoming and fun environment! Drinks were so unique and fun! The food was amazing! We wanted some fun drinks and light eats! The lime and shrimp wrap was perfect! Brittany was the best!! ❤

Was here on business and had a great meal with my team. The views were excellent, our server Paige was awesome and the Ahi Tacos were on point. Couldn't have asked for a better day!

Great location on the boardwalk. Variety of special. Inside and outside seating including roof top seating. Single large toilet would fit wheelchair

We came in at the right time, right day, so it wasn't busy during our meal. The male bartender waited on us and all the staff were very friendly. Our food came quickly and was nice and HOT. We all ordered chicken tenders, fries, and ranch. They were bomb!! Our daughter got a cute small coloring book to keep her busy. Will definitely come back here next time we come to Carolina Beach :)

All the ladies that were there today were very nice and very friendly. Good food and great margaritas. Thank you very much, ladies.
