Great 4 hr trip in kayaks to the Potomac but the take-out is a bit rough. Grew up in this area made this trip atleast 100 times, it has great beginner 'rapids' and plenty of shade in hot days but if you have a family with a bunch of kayaks (you carry while they watch) it is a bear getting them to your vehicle at the aqueduct. Take away... If you have people that can handle their own kayaks and stuff in them this is an awesome float.

Small parking space with sharp drop in entrance. Boaters river access to paddle lower Antietam. Short 6 steps to the river

Not sure exactly what spot this is, but we float the creek from Keedysville Road to the 34 Bridge. We love it... Despite some rustic issues. That's part of the fun. Falling when you get out, slipping on rocks when you get in... Just be careful and you'll be fine!

Older store no indoor seating. There is outdoor seating bur it was raining. I was traveling and wanted to relax and use internet
