Everyone from the front staff, breakfast staff, house keeping were very pleasant and always smiling.

I love the bed. It was very comfortable and the comforter was like the micro fiber patch style. Great pillows to.

Amazing all in 1 place. Restaurant and bar in house. Food was good. Staff both in the restaurant and hotel was friendly and helpful. Rooms were well cleaned and comfy beds. Laundry room available. Pool was clean and somewhat heated. Have nothing to complain about!

Excellent "budget" hotel/motel with an indoor pool and breakfast included. Very friendly staff and flexible check-in/ check-out, which we appreciated as we were traveling odd hours. There's also a restaurant (White Horse Tavern) attached to the hotel with a few vegetarian options. The front desk also gives 20% off discount coupons for River Riders tubing, which we couldn't use but may help others! We got everything we expected and more.

My only feedback for management: The toilet water was constantly running all night and the breakfast buffet could use some fruit. Hope this helps!

I chose this hotel for a retreat, and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and quick to provide service. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the atmosphere was really nice. We will definitely be returning here for future trips to the area.

This hotel has amazing staff. I had the pleasure of working with Laurie S. As the event coordinator and I am very pleased. She is always happy to help and makes herself available when you need her. We rented out this venue for a weekend and she was such a treat to work with.

The location is beautiful and well placed right outside of Washington DC. It's an easy drive from most places in NoVA, West Virginia panhandle, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. It also has a great view of the surrounding mountainous scenery.

The rooms look outdated and need renovation. The carpet looks to be out of the 80s and the ballroom ceiling isn't very high. Otherwise, the meeting spaces work well and the on-site Tavern had great food! The complimentary breakfast was actually really good and worth waking up early for.

The guest rooms are okay, but the HVAC needs work in many rooms along with bathtub replacements in others. Again renovations would be good here too.

I've stayed at this property multiple times and always enjoyed each visit. A special shout out to Idania at the front desk who helped me immensely with a reservation snafu for a future visit. She is a wonderful asset and ambassador to and for this hotel and whatever you all are paying her, it's not enough! Well done, Idania!! Recommended property.

We held a larger training in Harpers Ferry and used the Clarion Inn as our base location. The first day we used the hotel conference area for conference meetings and dinner. The sales manager Laurie Sitwell went above and beyond to work with us to ensure the space met our needs. I worked directly with her leading up to the event to secure event conference space, food billing and room blocks. I have never met a more service oriented sales manager before and must recognize her for her efforts and attention to detail. The hotel rooms, restaurant and staff were fantastic! Thank you Laurie for making our experience exceptional.

The room was so spacious & the bed was very comfy. My favorite part was that the AC/ heater worked wonderfully. The entire grounds was beautiful.
Continental breakfast starts a bit late though..7:30am.. not feasible for those who must depart for work or a travel destination early.

Staff was wonderful. Operations manager at front desk was first rate. Rooms were clean and modern. Pet friendly room and it's building were the cleanest and well maintained we've seen in our 8 years of traveling with our dog. We already booked a return trip. Mary, our waitress at White Horse Tavern was refreshing.

I have nothing bad to say about the Clarion. I've been wanting to visit Harper's Ferry for a long time and heard nothing but great things about the Clarion. The price shocked us and was wondering what was wrong because the price was so reasonable. The answer....nothing. There was nothing wrong. The free breakfast was amazing (my babies loved the waffle maker), the front desk was nice, the rooms were clean, and the location was perfect. What else does anyone need?! I was going to try out the gym, but some young girl was using it as her own phone booth. It's not a big deal. I used the wifi to log into my Beachbody in the room. We utilized the restaurant twice, and it was good enough for two nights. The hotel is right in the middle of everything we wanted to see...Antietam, Harpers Ferry National Park, etc. Not to mention, it was very quiet at night. My only complaint would be the showerhead. The showerhead couldn't be changed, and it felt like someone was spiking my skin. Not a deal breaker. My husband and I stay in a lot of places for work (Marriots and Hiltons) and leisure, and I have to rate the Clarion close to the top. It's low-key and underrated. Perfect! Thank you for a great stay! We'll definitely be back when the weather gets warmer.

We were able to get a last minute reservation. The staff was very friendly!! Our room was clean and comfy. It was nice to have the white horse tavern onsite. Food and drinks were very good! Our server was excellent!! Looking forward to going back!!

This hotel was wonderful. The price was unbelievably reasonable for such a nice stay. Our room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The front desk and breakfast staff were very helpful. The scenery was gorgeous, we even saw two little fawns out back one night. The pool is dated but clean. It was not noisy at night. Great vacation for our family.

Visited here yesterday with my spouse to celebrate valentines day, it's a great visit. We enjoyed staying in here beautiful lobby, friendly staff very responsive, clean room and comfortable beds, good free breakfast and a nice indoor pool. Housekeepers are friendly. The manager is very nice and help us around what good places and restaurants to go to, very helpful. Will come back again but for summer.

First review to say this hotel was great. Pool was open!! Restaurant & Bar open late, nice beds, and breakfast was everything we needed. The price was a great deal with Choice Hotel Membership. Love Harper’s Ferry, WV and worth the visit!

Small town charm, hard working staff. Clean sheets, new mattresses, good pillows.... I have a bit of a germ phobia and I felt good sleeping in these beds. Melody at the front desk was so kind and went above and beyond to make our stay great. This hotel has a beautiful view! It has a great restaurant attached to it as well and a nice ice cream shop too! Plenty of free parking.

This place was just what we needed after a long day of driving: friendly, helpful staff and a clean, comfortable room. Decent coffee with breakfast in the morning was an added plus! The pictures are exactly what the place looks like. (The price point was so low I was sure there'd be some degree of false advertising, but it really is a lovely place.) We were traveling with our dog and the staff was more than accommodating. I only wish we'd been able to stay longer to try the restaurant and explore the outdoor attractions nearby!

Our stay was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel offered entrance to a very fine restaurant. From our room we had access to a back patio which lead to the pool and seating area. This will be our go to place each time we visit the area 5+ star. Give it a try you won't regret it.

Excellent hotel! Wanted something close to Harper's Ferry. Room was clean and ready to check in visited in Feb 2023. Rate was discounted for winter but will stay there again when we come back in the Spring. Beautiful view of the distant mountains!!!

Very clean rooms with coffee pot, microwave, and fridge with frezzer in rooms.
Free continental breakfast. Indoor pool and gym. Internet service is IP4 only, outdated routers, so some phones, counsols, and tablets may not work. No tech support on staff. I had to use my cell phone for Wi-Fi. However, workstations with printers are available for guests to use.

At the time of our 4 day stay, all vending machines hotel wide were out of order. We were told everything in the machines was expired due to a manager who left his employment a few weeks back.

The closest store was a 7 11 about a mile away.

Wow such nice employees! We were allowed to stow our bikes in the conference room until we needed them. Breakfast was pretty good, only wish they had a few more items like peanut butter, decaf coffee, cream cheese..... but still adequate. They have a waffle maker!
