I’ve been going here for years and this is by far the best bar in Carolina beach! Such a great time every time. They have live karaoke and great vibes. And recently they’ve improved, adding new drinks and better staff. If you’re in CB, you have to stop by here if you are looking for a great time. Highly recommend!!

Just moments away from Carolina Beaches beautiful shore is this amazing low key dive bar. Need to be a member to stay but that doesn't mean a thing because you can stay and enjoy a single sitting as a guest. Trust me, once you taste the delicious Blue Crab dip you will be more than willing to sign up. If you want to be smart about it during season take advantage of a mind blowing oyster shooter and ice cold Bud Light. Everytime I go I meet the friendliest people and the staff is incredible. Even in the fall when it's nice and chilly outside by the water, you can't go wrong stopping in for a warm welcome.

I didn’t even know they served food until I saw these reviews. Stopped here with a few friends for drinks and they had karaoke that night. We had a blast, the service was good. The atmosphere is beach chic dive bar.

Excellent staff! Personally my favorite place on the boardwalk. If you visit Carolina Beach I'd say this place is a must!!

UPDATE: while the coffee is in fact friggin magical, I feel like I should have probably described the bartenders & staff as friggin magical first & foremost. Describing them as merely excellent is the biggest disservice I can give to them as well as the bar itself. My bad. 🤦‍♀🤷‍♀🍻👩‍🎤😁

While this place is located in the heart of the boardwalk, one would peg it as strictly a tourist joint, but not the case. This is almost right up there with the Fat Pelican as a spot for locals. They pretty much have it all, a full bar, a great menu with awesome specials and karaoke on the weekends, and speaking of weekends this place packs.out pretty early so grab your spot wisely and show up before the rush.

Love this place! Went for karaoke and had a blast. Amelia was wonderful. Tip: get the pizza shot, trust me

We had Crab dip and peel & eat shrimp (bay spices) - fantastic! Weren't even hungry but it smelled too good not to try!

Great place for karaoke on Saturday. Natalie is the worst bartender I have ever encountered. She does not look up to see who needs a drink. I’ve wait 10 minutes or more for a drink many times while she walks past me or on her phone.

Fun dive bar. Jell-O shots are my go to. They’re made in house and in syringes. Highly recommend for a drink before hitting the beach

Natasha is the hardest working, customer focused lady bartender that I've experienced here! She is awesome!!! She is totally worked and under paid!!

With it being my first visit to Carolina Beach I found this place based off a google review and thought it was so quaint and amazing. The young lady that served us was so wholesome and friendly; nothing less than what I imagined being from here in the south. We had the seafood medley and everything was so fresh and tasty!!! Hate we missed Karaoke but we were only there for the day. Will be back the next time I’m in Carolina as it only took 2.5hrs to get there from the Triangle. Please don’t pass this up if your in the area, it’s on the boardwalk side just past Beach Bumz.

The customer service is seriously top-notch. Natasha was incredibly welcoming and made us feel like friends. Not only that, but when I forgot my water bottle there they made sure to track me down on the boardwalk to give it back to me! Big ups to Silver Dollar!

I love the dollar because I get to see the one and only Eva who is one of my best friends and family to me. She is the ultimate bartender and treats me and everyone like gold! She's a gem. That beautiful young lady makes that place for what it is. You are very fortunate to have her! I go there just to see her and have a fantastic evening. She is a true professional behind the bar and more. I always have a fantastic time when she's working. Eva is a special lady in my life and a the best bartender and friend I ever met and I know that lady for 10 years + a true friend!

Love, love, love this little bar. Lori is a fabulous bar tender. Wendy is also a fabulous bar tender. Lori makes the best rum runner in town ! All the other bartenders are super nice. My husband an I go there a lot when in Carolina Beach..I also like it because it's just like your neighborhood bar. Most all patrons we've come into contact with while there have been nice.

I did not eat here I just went there to do karaoke had a blast the people were very friendly service was great will definitely be returning

Last Friday, 23 July 2021, was my first time at the Silver Dollar for Karaoke and I have my schedule set to return this Friday! 🤗 I went to support my NEW Karaoke DJ Friend Captain Spero and found a HOUSE FULL OF INVITING, RECEPTIVE, AND WARM PATRONS 💖🤗! I have a "LIFE LONG" love for singing, and was made to feel like a REGULAR RIGHT OUT THE GATE! 🤗! I'm looking VERY MUCH FORWARD TO CONTINUING TO BE THERE THIS WEEK AND FOR THE WEEKS AHEAD 💖! KUDOS AND MANY THUMBS UP THUMBS UP TO THE ENTIRE SILVER DOLLAR FAMILY, TO WHICH I FEEL ADOPTED 🤗💖💖💖!

My adoption is COMPLETE! I have become a regular at the Silver Dollar; and having received nicknames I am going to say that it's ONLY CHANGED FOR THE BETTER! From the Ownership, Staff, hometown, and transient patrons, I know I have found my Beach home!
