Buzz's Roost at the Beach

We were in town for a week and after going our first night we went back every day/night after. Our bartender Joe was absolutely amazing and made the experience the best it could be. Super easy going and easy to talk to and made us feel right at home. It’s a great place with an even better staff. Thanks again Joe!

The bang bang shrimp was great and so were the onion rings. Service was great. A little chilly in the restaurant but other wise great little beach bar

Great place to people watch while you enjoy food and drinks. The calamari was VERY different in a great way. There was no dipping sauce, which is different, but tasted awesome. Shrimp tacos were flavorful. Prices were good and matched well with type of food served. I would definitely eat here again.

The bar was good, loud and blaring with karaoke! Great nachos and good beer.

Weird guy at the bar, ruined his already bad day because of his overt disregard for my unwillingness to communicate. Non of this is the bars fault... India, the sweet bartender, smoothed things over and got the energy back to comfortable. Thanks India 💗

I came here after leaving Hurricane Alleys because they wouldn't let us order food and were only serving drinks. I am glad that I came here.
I ordered the jalapeño pineapple margarita and the lobster tacos. The tacos were awesome! The server recommended that I get them blackened. I did and was not disappointed. The server was great. She was attentive and friendly. Good food and good service. You can't ask for more.
They were setting up for karaoke as I was leaving. It seems like a fun spot. I would check it out if you are in the area.

Absolutely the most flavorful Jamaican fish tacos I've ever had. I can't wait to come back here in the future. Prices are great and the location is awesome.

Stumbled upon this spot in a hurry to watch our football team play on Sunday. We tried a neighboring spot that didn’t have the package and did we get lucky! Found seats at the bar with our game on (many other games as well). Prices were great & bar staff was amazing. A bit dive bar but it was perfect for what we wanted. Went back a few days later to try lunch. Crab legs, shrimp, onion rings, crab cake and fries were all good, prices amazing! Can’t wait to return

SO MUCH FUN! Music was a little too loud for my taste and my only complaint, but the food, drinks and service were awesome. Prices are really good compared to other places as well! Also in the perfect spot to check the boardwalk out afterwards.

Ordered takeout from the Hampton Inn to eat in our room last Thursday night. Food was awesome, packaged to go and everything was correct. Liked it so much we dined in Saturday night. Seat yourself and had excellent service and once again the food was awesome.

Our absolute FAVORITE place while at Carolina Beach. Quaint, friendly staff and scratch cooked food. Karaoke starts at 9 pm and is always a good time.

But beach divey , but quick service, decent prices right in front of the boardwalk with inside and outside seating.

Cool little bar and grill. Tourist side and locals side. They have gaming! Bartender was cool guy. Just popped in for a drink but menu looked good. Right off the beach access!

Great friendly service, enjoyed the song selections. Food was really Good. I had the blackened shrimp 🌮's, great spice level. Had an order of fried pickles as well, they were great! Definitely would recommend this spot!

The bartenders are so friendly here every day! The blackened lobster mac and cheese is amazing. Try the chocolate martini. Yummy!

Excellent, Blackened Grouper Fish tacos. My new favorite.. Great Service, cozy beach atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor dining. Great daily specials at great prices. Wheelchair Accessible.

Highly recommend! Our waitress was the bomb!!! I got snowcrab legs and they were the best I have ever had and so was the slaw!! Definitely give this place a stop if you are in the area you will not be dissapointed!!!

At first I thought this was a dive bar, but I was wrong. This is the place where the locals go. I had low expectation on their food, but it also exceeded my expectation. There is outside seating and a good beer selection.

This was our second trip to CB, and we had to come back to Buzz's Roost. Anything grouper, I 100% recommend - fried or blackened!! The wait staff was friendly and very attentive. We did not have to ask for refills or utensils - our girl was on it. She was very sweet and polite. The food was good. You don't have to wait a long time for it to be prepared, AND it's HOT when it comes out. It is one of our go-to restaurants while visiting.

Kool place, glad to hear they that AJ and Molly are working over there now. I will definitely be passing by more often.
