This is truly amazing that a restaurant that is connected to a gas station has some of the best food you will ever find ANYWHERE!!! And I know that this is an unbiased absolute fact because this place stays busy the people in this little restaurant are amazing people not just in their talent but the way they are generally good people and I can never say enough how good the food is. I ordered a steak rice salad and refried bean plate that comes with three hot toasted flour tortillas or you can get corn tortillas as well but I don't like those, anyway, when it comes to Latin cooking it is very rare for Latin style steak to be as tender as the one that I ordered from here it practically melted in my mouth and was perfect to make burritos or soft tacos with. No the steak is not shredded or cut up its actual whole pieces of steak that are as tender as you could ever want them. Absolutely love this place and it is actually and it is actually in my top three or four overall restaurants in the entire state of North Carolina!!!!!! And for those of you who have not been here yet honestly and truly and deeply urge youto go there and don't let the fact that it's in the gas station full you you will absolutely love it I guarantee it!!!!

Service was fast and food was good but i don't recommend the drinks they have!

Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been too. Their food is fresh, made to order. They have a salsa bar, authentic Mexican drink options. It's always clean, and has an amazing staff and owner. I highly recommend you guys to try them.

Probably my favorite hispanic food in the Asheville area. The pupusas here are awesome. You dont really notice it until you compare it with other's. One weekend we got pupusas from Smiley's flee market and here and these were much better. Tacos are excellent. Meat is well seasoned. Honestly they have very good gyros too. The best thing I've had on the menu is the asada quesadilla. Well seasoned and very cheesy with the carmelized onions. Also has a self-serve bar of veggies and green and red salsa. I live that extra cilantro with my tacos. Customer service is great too with smiles.

El Patron is so good, traditional flavors, salsa/condiment bar. DO NOT BE AFRAID THAT ITS IN A GAS STATION. They also make great papusas!

Excellent Taco Shop/Burger Joint fusion right out of a gas station just like you'd expect. Perfectly satisfying and open early and late.

Get the Quesadilla plate!!
The pork (al pastor) is my go-to. Their tacos are street tacos minus the street and food truck. I live across the street from El Patrón. My #1 favorite Mexican restaurant. PS THEY OPEN AT 6:00 WITH A FULL MENU!!

This place is a hidden gem. It is inside a gas station and might not look super fancy, but the food is absolutely delicious and a really good bang for the buck. I will definitely return here. The cook was nice, the food was fresh and delivered fast, plus there is a little salsa bar to spice it up as I see fit. Check em out!

The food here is legit!! I had the Al Pastor tacos, and the chicken tacos and both were really good! I didn't try any of their subs, but have heard good things about the non Hispanic food on the menu. Was looking for a good taco 🌮 spot on the Southside of town, and this place slaps!!

Philly Cheeesteak with sweet potato fries and cheeseburger were very tasty.

In a gas station, so the atmosphere is what it is, but it's easily the best Mexican Food in Asheville, hands down.

Went here for the first time today after it being recommended to me a few times. Got the chips and queso and a pork/bean/cheese pupusa, as well as some horchata. Everything was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be coming here more often!!

Incredible street style tacos. The tortillas are fried and the tacos are larger than most street tacos I've had.

I’ve been wanting to do a review on this place for a while. If you’re looking for a really excellent taco, papusa, or even a philly cheesesteak this is the place. And yes, I said philly cheesesteak. This is one of those hidden gems in the Asheville area for sure!!

O M G first time but the food was amazing. Hands down BEST burger in the STATE that I have tried. TASTE was amazing and I wanted to order another and hadn't even finished the first. Recommended by my brother (he's a foodie)and I will be going back probably TONIGHT...

Wow. Don't be turned off because it's inside a gas station. The food is in my top 3 for the best Mexican food I've ever had. Great portions, but the main attraction is the amazing flavor of the menu items. Fabulous. If you haven't been here, go!
