Amazing food and amazing service and their tea is legendary for sure came here to eat 2 days ago the okra and hamburgers are cooked just right and if you are into corn nuggets they are so sweet and juicy these people deserve business stop by and support them they have a long term customer with me and my family for sure

I am very pleased with the experience I have had at this family restaurant! I've been several times dine and take out! I can't think of one thing I didn't enjoy the staff the cook are all accommodating and wonderful personalities! I will be coming back! The corn nuggets are the BOMB I think for that kind of service and food I tip both waitresses and the cook! Thank you for your hospitality

Its a great local spot were the food is a great value for the price. It has a down home atmosphere and very rarely changes staff. Most of the staff has worked there for at least 15 years or more. It's very family friendly with kind people and good food.

Talk about southern hospitality. Happened upon this place on my trip to May's Meats. The vegetable beef soup tasted just like mom's. And the chicken livers ... a little crisp but not hard. I now know where I will be eating any time I'm in town.

This place has a cozy atmosphere. There food is pretty good along with great service. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a home cooked meal and needs a change from fast food.

Awesome, established hometown restaurant with a great menu. Everything you'd hope for in a small town, southern restaurant. The fried fish plate is perfection! The accompanying slaw and hush puppies are so good! The staff are friendly and attentive. Alyssa is a super waitress!

Good food good service for good price

This is a down home country restaurant. The food was really good--some of the best meatloaf and fried okra I have ever eaten. The slaw was probably the best I have ever eaten in Alexander County. I don't like sugar in my slaw and this slaw had the least amount of sugar of any other restaurant in the county. The hot fudge cake was to die for. The restaurant was clean and the service was really good. The waitress checked on our table 3 or 4 times. This was my first time eating here, and I will eat here again.

I got the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and green beans and it was absolutely delicious. I will continue to go back it was good home cook meal. I must say they have a great cook

My first time being here, its a clean and friendly Little hole in the wall with country cookin. The waitresses were prompt and the food arrived at a timely manner, and it was absolutely delishious! We will be dinning here again!

Been going here since I was a small child and will continue to every time I visit taylorsville.

The service is always amazing and the food is even better. If you are in town, ask anyone, you have to eat at S&S.

Just passing through and stopped here for early dinner. Everything was so tasty! Meatloaf is a must, and the apple sticks and corn nuggets were so delicious! We will stop again.
