Checkers Pizza & Subs

I love the pizza on general, but the taste of this pizza is so delicious . I ordered large veggie with chicken. And large cheese with chicken. Its Soo tasty 🤤 . And the staff are very friendly. Thank you guys for serving us with great service and delicious food

I got my food delivered, but it was absolutely delicious!!! Only suggestion that I have is to make a wing and sub combo please. I'm definitely going to order pizza and other items from this place again.

My wife and I ordered Checker's Pizza and Subs for the first time tonight through grubhub. We ordered from the Lake Wheeler Rd location. I ordered a 12in Spicy Italian sub combo and she had a 10in veggie pizza. The sub was tasty and filling. Loved the fries. My wife really enjoyed her pizza. Can't beat the prices either. Will definitely order from this location again!

Best Pizza I’ve had since moving to NC! After working in a Greek pizza restaurant for 4 years as a pizza maker, I have a very hard time liking pizza; but not 1 flaw was found. Hot wings were amazing and I will never eat fries from anywhere else now.

Friendly atmosphere and a lot of options. Recommend the grilled chicken sandwich and the pasta. Their fries are the absolute best in town 20/10 they never miss.

8/31/19 was my first time eating at this location. I ordered a 6" turkey and american cheese sub. and a slice of cheese pizza. The sub had very fresh ingredients on it, and it tasted good. But I wished I have ask for extra meyo because the sub was a little dry. The pizza was very good! It was fresh and hot out of the oven. The guy that waited on me was super nice. This place is definitely a keeper for me, I will be returning for my food.

And as I said, I returned back on 9/1/19 for a large pizza and another 12" turkey subs and chicken wings.
The wings was not all that good.

O.M.GOODNESS!! Food was sooooo YUM!!! Great 🍕.... Chef 🥗 was amazing..... 🐔 wings were delicious. This was my first visit and I'm definitely coming back!! Customer service was 👍👍. Food was hot and fresh. Wait time was excellent!!!!

Ordered delivery. Great food for the price. Everything was very tasty! My order was missing an item and the driver went back to the store to get it and returned later to deliver it to me to make it right.

Great food,great staff! Love this place! I get a Philly at least once a week ,and it's the only place I order pizza!!! Highly recommend! They close at 10 but I have arrived at 9:55 ( like an a$$ #OLE) but they take care of me like it's 7:00. BY FAR THE BEST!!!! CAN NOT EMPHASIZE HOW AWESOME THIS PLACE IS!!!!!!

Pizza is very good! Not too greasy and the price is fantastic! Way better than other name brand pizza places as well as the lunch special they offer is very very reasonable definitely will be going back in the future

Update: so after a little while of giving this restaurant a break. I decided to pop in and honestly there's a reason their my go to for a close place to go to in as little distance as possible.

Best pizza in town. They are so kind and helpful. They are so kind and helpful. Needed 14 pizzas for my daughters birthday last minute and the guy on the phone could not have been any kinder and helpful. Offered to cut it into 10 slices for the kids to have smaller slices instead of eight.
The driver was so helpful and brought the pizzas in for us and everything at the birthday location. He could easily had given it to me at the door but he said “no ma am allow me to help you”.
I love helping small business and with service like this I will gladly support them every time.

The only place around who makes tuna hoagie and one of the best i have tried.Made exactly as i asked with fresh ingredients ....the cook is very nice and will make you a hoagie exactly how you ask him.if i am back in the area again,definitely coming again.HIGGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Baklava is amazing great pizza and spaghetti overall great cheap food

I stumbled upon this place a year ago on the hunt for a Philly cheesesteak and it did not disappoint. I am a fairly consistent regular here now. Pizza is always hot. Calzones are filled to the brim. Garlic knots are cooked to perfection. And the PCS is to die for!

Customer service is on point too. It’s always the same gentlemen in there working, and they really are some of the most pleasant people.

They can get busy sometimes, but they try very hard to make sure you’re food is ready and if there happens to be a wait, they hustle so you don’t have to wait long!
