At first I didn't think I would use the gas station often, but as I began to get to know the employees I feel in love with the store. I want to respect their rules, as much as they are respecting me in the store.
They have made me feel like family even if I'm just another customer.

I live in the neighborhood behind these folks. They always remember me and what I usually get. Competitive pricing, and good selection throughout. Friendly, hometown service like I remember from growing up in rural North Carolina. Keep it up, y'all.

Great people, friendly, not a chain, drinks are cold, store is clean and they all speak English.

Friendly, kind, respectful staff. I like their politics and their dress code sign for young men on their front door.

Feels backwoods and reminds me of why I left NC. But the pumps are new and they have a large selection.

My vehicle overheated on I-40 during rush hour of July 1st. I was able to get off the highway and pulled behind the store, into the shaded area. Temps that day were over 95 degrees. The employee operating the register was extremely kind and helpful, inviting me to sit at the inside counter while waiting for the AAA tow truck to arrive, even providing water as he could tell I was upset, overheated and overwhelmed. Another employee checked on my vehicle for me on more than one occasion, as it was out of view behind the building. Though I don't travel this route often I will always go out of my way to stop and make a purchase. Thank you for your kindness!!

Truly excessively preachy and self-righteous management. Its fine to be christian, stay closed on easter sunday but shutting down the cedit card pumps on the gas? Come on. Dont tell me how to spend my Sunday, not everyone practices your religion. Also not a fan of driving by the preachy signs everyday.

Oddly political store signs. Unimpressive store overall.

I’m not someone who really ever leaves negative reviews but I’m consistently baffled at the weird customer service and practices of this gas station. I used to frequent this place due to the convenience of location and the fact that they carry 1:64 scale diecasts, which my significant other collects. The religious signage at this place is alienating for customers who may practice a different faith and I’m constantly treated as if I’m stupid when I go in to pre-pay for gas or buy a certain item. Not to mention the clientele here makes me feel unsafe as a young woman traveling alone. Go to the Exxon across from the farmer’s market, there is a lower chance of someone making a comment that makes you feel uncomfortable or having to repeat yourself and feeling as if no one is listening to you, and you’ll probably pay 10 cents less a gallon. I’m normally a supporter of family businesses and have given this place multiple chances but I’m not a fan of how these people treat their customer base or having religious propaganda shoved down my throat.

This family own business is really behind for today’s date. Their prices are way higher than any other store and on top of that one of their employee , tall young looking guy, is beyond rude and unaware of customer service manners. I came to the store , grabbed what I needed on may 7th 2018 . Approached the counter I greeted the tall young boy , he walked away AFTER I GREETED HIM and when he came back, he didn’t say nothing ,just a plain stare as if I was begging . Didn’t even say thanks or anything. that’s no way of treating a person who’s spending their dollar in your store.

My car broke down at nearly midnight last night near this store. I pushed it into their parking lot. The next morning I sent a tow truck to pick it up at 10:00 but it was gone. They had it towed and it cost me $100 to get it out of impound. It's not like I left it there for even an hour of their "open" hours. I'll never give them my money again. They made a bad situation even worse.
