Palmetto Kids General Dentistry and Orthodontics

My 12 year old has extreme anxiety around seeing dentists. His previous dentist had referred us to a pediatric dentist after a panic attack while trying to fill a cavity. I met with several other pediatric dentists before finding Palmetto Kids and was told that due to his anxiety they’d need to put him under (at a cost of several thousand dollars) to fill a cavity.

However, we knew it would be different with Palmetto kids after our first appointment. The entire staff was fantastic and was so patient and understanding. The first two exams and cleanings went well, but we really put Dr.Kimberly to the test when it was time to finally try filling that cavity. What an incredible professional! Watching her work on my son was like watching an artist. She effortlessly kept him calm and comfortable and was even able to pull 2 stubborn baby teeth during the visit. He didn’t even flinch! Absolutely incredible and I couldn’t be more thankful to have found this practice. Whether your child loves or hates the dentist, Palmetto Kids will take amazing care of them.

Perfect experience with my 3 & 5 year old. Friendly staff, very clean office, in & out quickly, the Doctor was thorough and took the time to answer my questions. I’d definitely recommend this office.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. I’ve been going to Palmetto Kids Dentistry for over 10 years now and can tell you without a doubt that they go out of their way to make you as comfortable and happy as possible. Their office staff is very knowledgeable and kind and Dr. Kimberly has helped me get past my fear of the dentist. Now I look forward to seeing her and everyone else who cleans my teeth. Clean environment. Incredible staff. Great overall! David is great for cutting the wire with braces! Gets it perfect every time . Mrs.Belva is amazing with braces. Also always makes us laugh. I love PKD! Definitely would recommend.

I have been taking my kids here for years, since they were very little. My oldest just got braces here and everyone is so knowledgeable, accommodating and kind. My daughter's braces were bothering her and they made sure she got right in to be seen. Highly recommend.

Your looking for a Dentist you must come to Palmetto Kids Dentistry been coming here for years and would not changed it. Staff is so Friendly, the place is so clean, Dr Duffey is so professional and great with kids. Love this place must recommend it. A+

Ms Stephanie is a sweetheart, she makes me smile every time I come in for a cleanup or inspection. The other orthodontists are also kind people. This place is great

I’ve taken my kids to them twice now & both visits have been top of the line, impressive! They’re friendly, personable & quick. I’ve never had a better experience with a dentist locally! My kids are 2, 4 & 6 & all needed work done. They gave me a treatment plan for each and scheduling was easy & fast. All 3 were treated w patience & kindness. Looking forward to our next visit! I went to them for a second opinion for my 2 year old & have been going to them only since!! Thank you Palmetto Kids. You guys are amazing!!

Taking your child to the dentist for the first time can be a stressful situation for both the child and parent!!!

From the moment my daughter and I (18 month ago) walked into the office we soooo nervous. As a first time mom I didn’t know how my daughter was going to take getting her teeth done. The staff was amazing to her! They makes her feel like as comfortable as she could be. They definitely makes sure my daughter had a great 1st visit! I would definitely recommend to anyone!

We just moved down here last June and they did amazing with my son for his first visit to the dentist he is 20 months. Even though he was screaming the whole visit, she was so patient with him and made it fun for him. Everyone there is so nice and understanding with his screaming, crying and biting when she would put the tools in his mouth. We are gonna stick with this dentist for as long as possible!!

My kids were new patients and the experience here was great, from the front desk to the back with the hygienist and dentist. Everyone was super profesional, kind and efficient! The office is modern and very clean. I’m so happy I found this office for my kiddos!
