Island Time Drop-n-Play

Our daughter absolutely loves Island Time! She has done drop-off care, after school, and summer camps and had always had a lot of fun. The staff is very friendly and excellent with the kids.

We love Island Time! The staff are attentive and great with the children. It is always very clean and well organized with lots of great toys for the children. They even have an awesome trampoline that my daughter loves to bounce on. I always know that my daughter is in great hands at island time. Thank you for taking care of my baby!

My daughter has recently began going here.
She absolutely loves it! She has been to other daycares locally in Wilmington before. This is her favorite, And my favorite to send her to as well. They are highly responsive and willing to fit you in. They have a lovely center and are genuinely friendly people. She has already made so many friends and loves to tell me all about how happy she is when I get home. I checked her backpack when she got home and found a drawling and when I asked her to tell me about her drawling (to spark her imagination and encourage it further), she told me a friend actually drew it for her and it was a piece of candy lol. Which is what it looked like. Basically, my daughter is so happy here and I have seen nothing but professionalism from this place and happy children. They are trust worthy and definitely worth trying.

Island Time has literally been my saving grace. My 2 year-old son LOVES it there and it's a much needed break for a SAHM whose husband works 12 hour days. We use the month pass regularly and it's worth every penny. I love that the staff is fairly small, so I know everyone who works there and so does my son. I never feel like I'm leaving him with a stranger and he's always giggly and happy when I pick him up.

I feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful place for child care on the Island. I have used their services since moving to CB, just over 2 years ago. All three of my boys regularly ask if I will bring them to play. My youngest is enrolled in their pre-school program and is genuinely excited to head off to school each morning! The fantastic owners and their wonderful pre-school teacher (Ms Julia) have created a fun, safe, educational space for children. Thank you Island Time!

Island Time has been our extended family! My husband and I both work full time and do not have family to help us with our 7yo son! Island Time ALWAYS comes through for us and we don’t have to worry at all when we drop him off! I just cannot even express all the gratitude our family has in words!!!

My toddler who is not quite 2 has started going every Friday. They are accommodating and very nice. He has a meltdown every time I drop him off like most toddlers but he is all smiles when I pick him up. They have been wonderful since the day I started bringing him. He always has a clean diaper and is obviously well taken care of. I appreciate these people so much and it is nice to know they are trustworthy. Thanks for all you do!

My 3 year old daughter loves going to Island Time. The staff is professional and attentive. Never any issues with health or safety and she can't wait to go again.

I just saw this last review below. I not a review writer but I had to say something. I am not here to dispute if it was or was not a past employee but that review was terrible. I am a parent of a 2 year old boy and this place has been amazing. Please dont let that review sway your opinion. Until we found this place our kid hated drop off places. He managed and went along with it but he never liked them. He gets excited to go here. To me, seeing he is in a safe place that he is happy in and enjoys going is comfort to me and my top priority when my wife and I can't watch him. If you live in Wilmington don't count this place out. It's not just for Carolina Beach folks. It is not far once you get past Monkey Junction and there is never traffic or delays because you are traveling south. It is worth the drive for our family. Please try them out a few times. You will quickly see what we see.

I've used Island Time for my 6 and 3 year old. Great staff and my kids enjoy themselves and are always eager to go back. Very convenient beachside location.
