Island Massage & Spa

I have been getting monthly deep tissue massages from Katrina now since October of last year. I walk over 5 miles a day and she has helped me keep me body loose, relaxed and ready for the stress that I put it through on a daily basis. She is now a critical part of my healthier lifestyle. I cannot recommend her enough!! If you are in need of a massage, look no further.

Island massage and spa was a great experience. My wife and I had separate massages and were both wonderful. The therapists were professional and did a great job in gathering information from you about what you’re looking for. Business was clean and nicely set up. Warm massage table and relaxing music!! Highly recommended!!!

Just had my first massage at Island Massage today. Had the opportunity to work with Winnie. Absolutely amazing bodywork and the best neck massage I’ve ever had and I get regular massage. Highly recommend Winnie. My neck and back praise her. Will definitely be coming back to see her.

Beautiful and relaxing spa atmosphere. I was fortunate to have Winnie for my therapist. She listened and addressed my neck and back issues I’ve been having. Overall a wonderful experience and I will be returning soon to Winnie for my massage therapy needs.

Super clean, friendly staff, great services. We are visiting from out of town, called last minute for a massage- while they were booked they offered several options and alternatives. We ended up doing the salt room which was a cool experience, if we were staying longer I would have checked out the yoga offered in there. Overall, lovely experience!

What a wonderful place. Super clean and friendly. I had an algae body wrap and scalp massage/foot massage by Katrina. I left feeling reset and calm. My skin treatment made my skin feel so good after a couple days in the sun. Definitely will be back when I’m in town again!

Booked a couples massage here with Katie and Colton. Check in was easy the woman at the front desk was friendly. The massage was awesome. Atmosphere was very relaxing and calming. We were offered essential oils on our pillow which I felt like was a nice touch and is something that isn't offered at our local spa. I feel like Colton listened to what I asked for and delivered. Even with a light massage as requested I left feeling very calm with no tension. My Husband enjoyed his massage as well with Katie. If were ever in this area again we will definitely be back. If you haven't been here you should defiantly go. You will not regret it!

Winnie was my massage therapist who was worked on me three week post-op knee replacement, she worked a miracle on all my leg muscles which were extremely tied in knots. Very professional and listened to what my needs were. Definitely will be returning next Saturday! Thank you!

Such a friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Just walking in puts you at ease. Katrina is amazing and I will continue to go back again and again! As they say “Take time to take care of you”.

My husband and I decided to get a massage for my birthday. We're here visiting my mother-in-law who lives on the island. He got a deep tissue and I got a swedish massage. Each were $90 for 60 minutes. All the staff were very polite and professional. My husband and I were both very satisfied with our massage and left feeling very relieved and relaxed. Our massage therapists listened to our needs and did well at communicating pressure. I got the hot stone add on and Connor did very well with communicatiing when he'd be placing them on me and if the temperature was comfortable. My husband was pleasantly surprised with the hard pressure his masseuse applied (her name was pretty and sounds like anemone). I got my upgrade for free since it was my birthday, which a pleasant surprise. The facility was very cute and clean. We will book this place every year on our annual trip to NC.

Got a 1 hour deep tissue massage with Katrina that was fantastic. Over the years I have gone through periods of time where I would have regular massages and also some longer periods where they would be more sporadic with a variety if different people. This was the best work I can remember. She was very strong, symmetrical, methodical, and focused. Will be scheduling some more.

Thought I was going to have to get an Uber to drive me home, I was that out of it! It has been double digits years since I’ve had a massage that good. Winnie was wonderful!!!

Love this place! We have visited on numerous occasions and always have the best experience. Catie does an exceptional job asking questions and then applying her expertise to make you feel brand new in an hour. She does a fantastic massage and I would def recommend her.

I went the day of my birthday as a good friend gave me a gift certificate for my birthday. It was $100 gift certificate and the massage was $90. They do not let you use the $10 towards tip so be aware of that when you buy a gift certificate for someone. I used the remaining $10 towards a foot scrub at the end of the massage which does take away from your massage time. Also be aware that it is a paper gift certificate so don't lose it. As someone who owns a medical aesthetics practice, I don't require my clients to keep track of their gift certificates so going to an automated system would be very helpful for your clients and then I could email my friends gift certificates for their birthdays too. Aside from these technicalities, the actual massage with Colton was absolutely amazing. He is incredibly talented and as someone who has had massages all over the world, I was very impressed with his abilities. He is obviously very well trained and incredibly thoughtful and loved the deep tissue massage with him. The only advice I would give him is to make sure that he reads the clients birthdates as then he would know if they are treating themselves to a birthday gift or not. It's these little touches that really make a client's day.

These ladies were amazing! Super polite and professional. Katelynn was an awesome masseuse and was able to work out some muscle knots I didn't even know I had. The atmosphere was very calming, even with the construction outside to fix their mural wall.

Great massage for the price. Tranquil environment, friendly front desk staff. I'll be back. I left feeling much better than when I went in.
