Needed to get my marriage certificate, and was so quick and easy. Ladies at office were so kind and helpful. Have a cash with you in case you need something to pay there, if use credit cards will be with fees, and unfortunately Apple Pay doesn’t work there

Everyone I encountered there today was extremely helpful and very nice. It's a great atmosphere that can set people at ease because going to the courthouse can trigger anxiety in a lot of people.

My review is for Jury Duty, this was such a surprise and great experience and complete opposite of some other comments I read. I had no issues with parking, plenty of spaces and not waiting to get into the deck, validation of ticket super easy. Check in at courthouse was a small line but moved very fast, 5 min wait maybe, very organized check in, they gave letter for documentation to each of us immediately after check in. The space we waited was very nice and clean, comfortable and large chairs, some small desks and tables for those wanting that setup. Quiet Room and breakroom space also available. Outlets everywhere for your electronics and plenty of windows and light. Entire wall of perfectly displayed magazines available. I did not use the breakroom but looked at it, amazingly clean and vending machine selection was impressive. The entire place felt upscale like an Airline Club - that would be my best comparision.

The clerk Jasper kept everything moving and kept us informed. There was even a fire alarm (false) and he kept us organized and informed. The video was not bad and you could see a TV screen from any seat in the room. We were also informed how many cases there were, what courtrooms they would be in, what type of case, and how many of us would be called to go be part of that specific jury pool. Plenty of opportunities to ask questions. We also were told when we'd be free to go if not needed. Not only were we kept well informed but Jasper was quite entertaining and funny.

Once we got to the courtoom it was made clear by the judge what the schedule would be and what we can expect to happen next. I had never been to this building before, I was impressed it is beautiful, clean with plenty of space and seats in the hallways out side the courtrooms.The courtoom itself was spacious and seats comfortable. The judge and bailiffs were also very nice and helpful. This was a great experience overall. Parking deck was very close to courthouse and juror pay is now made via Debit card. Lots of great lunch places nearby, I recommend Union Special.

Very clean and orderly obviously, but the people were almost cheerful…! I was expectinggg horrible people like at the DMV, etc., but almost everyone I encountered was great!! For a speeding ticket, it was an extremely smooth process.

Was pretty speedy for court procedures. Staff was nice. 10/10 would get charged again.

Quick experience somewhat costly

Quick & efficient !

It is clean. Security is friendly for the most part. I’ve been to the Register of deeds and the Clerk of Court- Criminal District offices. At the Clerk of Court - Criminal District office, they helped me obtain a criminal record easily. At the Register of deeds obtaining a marriage license was a simple process and coming in to do my Notary Public Oath went well. Overall, the employees do their jobs well and I have been satisfied with my experiences here.

Nothing unusual. The staff at the register of deeds were friendlier than the ones at clerk of court.

Had to wait almost 3 hours for service

It takes wayto long for a Person to get through the metal detectors. The last I was there the court did not start until 1030 but they tell you to be there at 9 So is that makes no sense. Hopefully today it will go Quicker

Rarely been here, because of my job asking I had to recently come here to court (witness). Security check was good and building was clean. However, I was here for 3 hours after court time on my daughter's B-day. Hopefully I will not get served to do this again.

Okay, ofcourse the courthouse is clean and orderly. This courthouse is in the middle of the capital. For anyone who is filing any kind of case for the first time, go to your bank and get your paperwork notarized. Raleigh courthouse does not have a notary. At least that was my experience. God help you if you can’t afford this cost, they will give you a hard time and send you to the USPS store in between Wellington and Davie street . I got hustled ,but it is a lesson learned. Hopefully ,anyone reading this will not make the same mistake I made. The courthouse is nice overall and huge!

five of us showed up to a court date this morning only to find out that the information given last night was incorrect. The woman in the clerk of court told is that "this happens a lot". Is there a way to fix this?

i was told by the cop who pulled me for my tags, that i can go in and show proof of my updated registration and i was told by the dude behind the desk they don’t do that anymore. i wasted my time driving all the way here. Now i have to drive back again for my court date and miss work.
