There's a covered gazebo here where you can hang out in the shade while your kids play on the boulders that keep the ocean from taking away this stretch of the beach. At low tide your kids can play in the ocean, but at high tide it's not a safe location to let them roam without supervision. Very close to the pier that's a great destination tho.
