They have a variety of flavors including dairy free and vegan along with different fudges, salt water taffy and bottled beverages. Dairy free taste delicious! We were also able to get a pup cup for our puppy (: had something for everyone in our family. very happy with the taste, prices, variety of flavors, and wonderful staff! This place is amazing and has something for everyone! Island Ice is my family's favorite ice cream shop to visit. It's family owned and has a changing menu of great home made ice cream, Gelato, smoothies, icees, milk shakes, malt shakes, and soft serve ice cream. I have been a type 1 diabetic for over 30 years and I have tried many sugar free desserts and Island Ice by far has the best tasting sugar free, diary free, and vegan options I have ever tasted plus I have tried almost all of their regular flavored ice creams too 😉 Our favorites are the "banana pudding" ice cream, "honey lavender" ice cream, "coffee and donuts" ice cream, sugar free raspberry gelato, and the "orange cream" icees. They even offer a sugar free whipped cream which is amazing! There's always something great for everyone in my family to choose from and we love that the flavors are always changing and you can definitely tell that fresh ingredients are always used. We have visited Island Ice many times now and the shop is always very clean and even if the line is out the door it moves quickly and you cannot beat their prices. Since we are locals we purchased one of their refillable koozie cups because we can get refills of ice cream, Gelato, or icees at a discounted price in their shop or out on the beach from one of their mobile carts which is amazing on a hot sunny beach day with the kids. If you haven't tried them yet you definitely need to!

This place rocks! Sugar free, non dairy, vegan options, custom flavors and everything in between. Its my go to for frozen treats on the weekly basis. Always love trying new stuff. Keep up the great work!!!

This is the only ice cream shop i have found that has dairy free and sugar free options, I have tried both and they taste absolutely amazing, i couldn't tell the difference!! Love all the regular homemade flavors as well. Will be coming back very soon!!!

Friendly service and great atmosphere. They have a nice variety of flavors, including non dairy/vegan options. Their prices are also super reasonable. Definitely returning to get ice cream again!

I love this place. I love the gelato with Italian ice and try to match for the perfect flavor sensation. My most recent flavor success combined French vanilla with green apple Italian ice. Excellent!! Come visit and find your own creation.

They have the best italian ice and homemade ice cream! This is our first time to Carolina Beach on a 4 day vacation and we've already been twice on the first two days. My youngest son who has a major sweet tooth doesn't typically want ice cream LOVED it day one and asked for it on day two! We had the chocolate chocolate chip cookie dough (delicious) and vanilla the first day and chocolate and strawberry on day two...the strawberry is the absolute best I have ever had!! The milk and cookies and chocolate chip mint were also enjoyed by my husband and our niece. Staff was very friendly and we will probably be back today and tomorrow!! Definitely stop here for your sweet treat and wait if they are busy!! I know parking can be a bear at times...we walked about a mile the first time from our condo, but took a cab back and have used a cab to and from the boardwalk since (another best $10 spent...$5 ride plus tip). :)

I absolutely love this place! Staff is friendly, very understanding, and very polite with costumers. They offer diary free and sugar free ice cream which was very delicious. My family and I was not disappointed at all! Good job!👍🏻

Delicious ice cream, great service and well priced

Amazing menu with lots of choices here! Basically, if it's cold and worth consuming at the beach on a hot day they pretty much have you covered! One of the coolest things is that they have a cart that roams around the beach itself. Great staff and like I said, so many choices that it will take more than one visit to get a proper sampling!

Ive had the chocolate and vanilla i love it?! I ordered Grub hub which made it too $$$ , Its amazing really good I got quarts lasted long. Really high quality. Great to watch movies with!

Island Ice factory has fabulous homemade ice cream in a huge variety flavors. Also the best. Italian ice on the boardwalk! Always stop in when we are. In Carolina Beach. Highly recommend!

In my opinion, this is the best Italian Ice in all of Carolina Beach. The refillable "koozie cups" is the best way to go if you are staying in the area for a few days or more, as it is only one dollar per scoop for Italian Ice ($1.50 per scoop if you want to get the ice cream).
