Your chocolate covered cashews are crazy amazing… I’m the girl who CAN eat one Lays potato chip, yet I’ve almost eaten this whole bag of chocolate cashew delight in one sitting… I can’t wait to try my fudge!! Thanks Duke for sending us their way!!!

The Fudgeboat is a great little place on the boardwalk that everyone should visit when at Carolina Beach. The staff is always so friendly and the fudge is unbelievably good. So good, we’ve made it a tradition to stop by every time we visit Carolina Beach. So we’ve been visiting the Fudgeboat for many years and we hope to visit for many more. There are tons of flavors to choose from and none of them are a bad choice. When we have family that can’t make the trip, they will always ask us to bring them something from The Fudgeboat. If you haven’t already, make fudge (or ice cream) from The Fudgeboat a new tradition for your family too!

Had 1 scoop of Hanna Banana & 1 scoop of Espresso Chip. Both are delicious ice cream favors made in house! Wonderful service. Average serving size.

Lots of different flavors of fudge, other candies and even ice cream. Loved the friendly staff… and of course my husband and I got our fatness on with a pound of fudge…

During our week at the beach, we tried several ice cream shops and ended up at this one last. If you're looking for delicious, homemade ice cream AND an assortment of other homemade candies and fudge to choose from, then this is one I highly recommend!

I had a double scoop of coffee and death by chocolate in a waffle cone. Perfection!

Also, the choices of fudge flavors were vast, and the people working there were friendly and kind.

Parking is a little tricky, as it's right at the pier, but we did find free 15-minute parking right out front, which was perfect for us!

We've been visiting this little dessert shop for nearly 20 years in Carolina beach. When all the other icecream and fudge shops come and go, we can count on the fudgeboat always being here and almost always open. We always have great service and yummy desserts. Thanks for being part of our Carolina beach spring tradition!

My family stopped at The Fudgeboat several days in a row for their delicious homemade ice cream. Friendly staff and a variety of ice cream options! Best ice cream in North Carolina!

Seemed to finish our nights off here every night. The fudge was good, the ice cream choices are good, and the Krazy Kones were good. Only complaint was the soft serve machine being down for cleaning one night so I couldnt get a hurricane, but with the hand scooped options available its hard to be mad about it.

Great selection of fudge, chocolates and candy. Owner is very nice as well and from my home state of Ohio. Prices are good. Fudge comes In the 1/4 pound.

Really good fudge, made fresh and full of taste, not just pure sugar like store-bought fudge tends to be.

They have a list of ways to get a discount posted outside, check it before entering the store for an easy 10% off.

Went in for some chocolate covered strawberries and they did not disappoint!

The best of 2 worlds: ice cream and fudge - both in a wide range of delicious flavors! We go at least twice every month!

I had the cotton candy fudge and it was delicious! The ladies said the they made it fresh daily and it was the smoothest fudge I've ever had. Usually the fudge I've had is super tough and hard to get through, but this one was super smooth and melted in my mouth. I loved it and can't wait to try more flavors!!

Wow!!! Outstanding!! Stopped in for ice cream with the little ones and wound up leaving with fudge also. The owner was there and she is the sweetest lady I have ever met! She was telling us that most of the cones, about half the ice cream, and all the other goods were made by her and she works with a local dairy farm. Everything I sampled was AMAZING!!!! Brought fudge home for my husband and he just kept saying "wow!!" Definitely a place to stop at everytime we are at Carolina beach!! :-)

Wasn't originally on the hunt for fudge, but every other place for dessert was closed on a Saturday night at 6pm! However, I'm glad we came across this little gem. The fudge isn't overly sweet like most fudge tends to be. The girls working were polite and friendly. They had a large selection of goods, something for everyone. Even if all the dessert places happen to be open, I still recommend stopping in here!

Located right by the boardwalk and near the Hampton In Went in just prior to closing and was served as if I was the first of the day. Great homemade fudge selection (I bought 2) then immediately walk over to their ice cream counter for some outstanding home made iced cream. Spectacular treat. I suggest you do the same.

not sure why people in the reviews say the staff was rude. i thought everyone was very kind! been coming to the fudgeboat since i was a little girl. great memories here.

Staff are very friendly and live that they are opened later, than the other Ice Cream shops that are quick to close even 10 minutes before their posted closing time. Many options and even have outdoor seating area that are very spaced apart to enjoy your treats.
