From an icecream connoisseur, this is the most flavorful and creamiest icecream I have likely ever had! And I’ve had my fair share! This is gingerbread and it is delicious! I will certainly be making the drive to Carolina Beach JUST to try more flavors!

Wonderful ice cream. A very nice little store with interesting items. Some are a bit expensive. I love the Celtic coffee ice cream. I get it every time. Lots of flavors. Limited parking. Outdoor seating and a few chairs indoors. Very small place with very little space to shop. It would be difficult to get around if limited mobility.

Incredibly delicious ice cream! Super creamy and decadent! I tried the mint chocolate chip! They have really interesting flavors like cheesecake and heath bar, cookie dough, Birthday cake, etc! Their store has a massive gift shop with beach themed gifts like bracelets, jeweley, fragrances, purfume, toys, clothing, stuffed animals, shoes, home goods, and more. Seating indoors and outdoors!

The likes of Award winning Irish Ice Cream made with fresh, all natural ingredients. A wide variety of signature Sundaes got us testing and enjoying the likes of the Cookie Monster sundae. 😋 A warm, fresh oven chocolate chip cookie topped with two scoops of ice cream and a sauce of your choosing. We had the “oh no” cookie dough and from the sea and bee with Caramel topping. Chocolate shavings topped it all off. A wide variety of smooth, sweet ice cream and a good number of toppings. The shop also features a wide variety of gifts, clothing and other vacationing collectibles in their gift boutique.

OMG this is honestly slap your momma good. Hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever had & they have this adorable shop attached to it. I scream, you scream, we all scream for Celtics ice cream!

Very tasty ice cream & at least a dozen flavors. Available in cups & cones 1,2 & 3 scoop servings.

Seating inside & outside. Outside on picnic tables or benches. Inside at tables. At the first stop light in downtown Carolina Beach & excellent people watching point.

Collocated at gift shop too.

Great ice cream. My wife is picky with her ice cream, but she liked the consistency of theirs. Interesting concept with a store attached. There were a lot of nostalgic merchandise that was cool to see.

Of all the places that we have been told is the best, pizza, burgers, dinners, shopping, at Carolina Beach, this was by far the best of the best. Ice cream is so smooth and creamy, not too rich and well priced. The staff was excellent, very fast and efficient. This is my treat, and there is an Apple pie turnover underneath.

Absolutely amazing, creamy ice cream. Made on site daily with all natural ingredients. They also have made to order mini-doughnuts topped with a choice of chocolate or cinnamon. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is also a store with unique high quality brands. Parking is limited. I'll be sure to stop in on my next trip.

Visited while on vacation! Cool little tourist style shop and awesome ice cream! Everything is made there, taste great, service was wonderful, and not a bad price for local made. Definitely worth getting!

Best ice-cream we have ever had! Our waitress at The Deck House recommended this location to us. We couldn't have been more satisfied. Their homemade irish-cream and Irish butter-pecan were the creamiest and smoothest we've ever tasted. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. You can try any flavor you like and there's even outdoor seating available. Squiggly's is always covered over, but I think the Celtic Creamery should be on everyone's "must-go" list while in CB. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

This is absolutely the best ice cream I have ever had. I do not know how they do it but it was so rich and creamy. Great staff as well.

It was a fun place to visit. One side has an ice cream station and the rest of the store is a souvenir shop with lots of cute beach themed items. I love cute things so it was a trap for me lol. The ice cream was really good, rich quality, and fun flavours. They make their own waffle cones too! I was impressed, the cone tasted so good! Didn't taste like plastic but like a cake biscuit, more fresh.

Amazingggggg. We got a little bit of everything from here. Their bags of nuts, donuts, and ice cream. The mini donuts are delicious! We got powdered and cinnamon sugar - cinnamon sugar were my favorite. We got their Knickerbocker Glory Sundae and Beachside Brownie Sundae. The ice cream is so good and the brownie was so creamy and the chocolate chips were delicious addition. The prices are GREAT and they do take credit card.

The employees who served us on 11/4/2023 was very attentive and patient as we went through all of the options. Working by herself, she was not even frazzled when a huge group came in while we were there and took care of everyone without any issues. The shared space had great stuff from another shop, but it was a little cramped.

Best ice cream in the area! We had the Irish butter pecan and banana pudding flavor with a waffle bowl. Reasonable priced. $3.99 for one scoop; $5.49 for two; $6.99 for three. Waffle cone and bowl for an extra of $1.10.

Delightful little gift shop and ice cream. Looked around the gifts first and loved the eclectic items - cute novelty socks, soaps, art, clothing, hilarious slogan boards, and lovely jewelry. Then we went for the ice cream. The Nutella and Cookie Dough were excellent. Mint Chip was like Andes candy rather than typical mint, so good!

Came in to try their homemade ice cream. The "Sea & New" honey sea salt was so yummy!

There's also a little retail store selling novelties.

I saw this shop on the first day of my trip and knew we had to stop and check it out. We ran down from our air bnb a little before close for the absolute perfect nighttime post beach day treat. It was so creamy and delicious, best ice cream I've had in a while. Hit the exact right spot after a long day in the sun. The staff looked like they were having fun and that made the atmosphere very comfortable. I combined "the sea and the bee" and "oh no cookie dough" and it was chef's kiss would recommend. Next time we come out this will be a must visit!
