Swank Deserts never disappoints !! The cake was a red velvet mini 4 inch cake. Nice & moist ! Ever in the area check out Swank Deserts ‼ 10/10 recommend.

Always a unique,creative flavor explosion with the menu. The desserts, food items and even the drinks are nothing "normal". If you are looking for the normal stuff please do not enter. The Place is always clean, friendly staff, good customer service and worth the money. Consistency in products and service EVERY TIME!

Finally got my hands on some banana pudding and was not disappointed , it was so good! I love the deconstructed cakes, leave them out of the refrigerator for them to get to room temperature and they are perfect! The cookies are also amazing, such good flavors. The cookie butter cookie is my new favorite!

Ordered the smoked caramel cake for our baby shower. It was absolutely perfect, and the taste was out of this world. The cake was gorgeous and the metallic dusting was beautiful and matched the topper we purchased. Thank you so much for such a great experience! We loved it and it was beautiful

Lavender lemonade was delicious. Same with the champagne strawberry desert. Staff is friendly and the place is really nicely decorated

Okay this place has become my new favorite. The pepperoni and hot honey Focaccia bread was so delicious. I loved that you could taste everything in it from the garlic to the pepperoni, the hot honey was not overwhelming at all. The bread was perfectly fluffy.
The biscoff cookie was so dang good I had to go back in for more. I’m very picky about cookies I usually won’t eat it if it’s room temp but this surpassed all expectations.
We also had the red velvet cookie which was of course also amazing and the cake of the day which personally we didn’t like.
My only disappointment is I don’t get more.

This place is a 10 out of 10. I have eaten MANY items from this establishment, BUT by far, the Cookie Butter Cookie is the BEST Cookie I've ever had in my life. I mean, please come and try it all, as I'm 100% positive you will fall in love. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Macaroons: ube 10/10. I didn't want the flavour to ever leave my mouth. So so good. Caramel one was good too.

Deconstructed red velvet cake: 9/10 loved the frosting and flavour of cake. Was not dry.

Brownie bar: 5/10 wasn't what I wanted out of of a brownie. Was chocolatey enough and a bit too much salt for my preferences.

Cookies: strawberry something. 7/10. Moist and good flavour. Double chocolate: 8.5/10. Good chocolate flavour.

Lavender lemonade: wasn't a fan. Just didn't have the flavours I liked. I drank it all. Just don't think I'd get it again.

Creme brulee donut: 7.5/10. Not my favourite dough. However, the cream filling was super yummy. Wish there was a bit more spread out. Had about 2 bites worth of cream.

We hired Swank Desserts to create our wedding cake for our small wedding. Danetra helped us figure out exactly the design we were looking for that coordinated well with our wedding decor. We were also able to sample the flavors we had narrowed down and happily decided on the Champagne & Strawberries cake - which is AMAZING. We were so happy with our cake and would recommend Swank Desserts to anyone!

We love SWANK! Every cake we've had so far has been stellar (& this is coming from a pro cake-baker!) including my baby shower cake last year which was absolutely gorgeous. The macarons are fabulous, authentic, & delicious. We (especially my dad when he visits from Charlotte) love showing up early Saturday mornings to see what's new... it's a joy to see new flavors being dreamed up and trying pretty much one of everything. We also love the savory focaccias! YUMMMMM. So happy to have SWANK in Summerville.

Swank Desserts catered my wedding and provided three gorgeous and delicious cakes including: Coconut and Passion-fruit, Red Velvet, and Salted Caramel. I also ordered macaroons from Swank (champagne flavor). Overall, the presentation was incredible and was set up as exactly planned and way before the ceremony. Swank's professional contract was up-front and was followed through 100%. My guests were floored by the desserts! I would recommend Swank Desserts to anyone. Working with Swank for my wedding was the best decision I ever made!! Thank you so much Swank Desserts!!

Best desserts, hands down! I still talk about how delicious and beautiful my birthday cake from years ago. They also make some amazing weekend specials I’m always drooling over.

I have eaten just about everything from swank! I started visiting swank every Saturday when I was pregnant with my daughter and it has become a weekly ritual. I love the champagne and strawberry cake snacks and the banana pudding. Their focaccia is to die for!

Swank never disappoints! The brownies are *chef’s kiss* and the flavor profiles are not something you’re going to find just wherever. If you want a basic cookie, this isn’t the place for you. However, if you want to be punched in the mouth with flavor and high quality ingredients, then this is the place. My family literally looks forward to her pecan pies every thanksgiving! My only sadness is that I don’t live there anymore, so only can have swank when I visit!

I've ordered from Swank for the past few years and everything I've tasted has been incredible! From her celebration cakes (I've done banana puddin', maple bacon, boston cream pie, red velvet, and more) to her donut and sweets popup boxes on Saturday - you can't go wrong! We even went to her Valentine's Day dessert tasting a few years ago as our date night! Danetra is so easy to work with and you can tell she is passionate about what she does! Now that she's in a storefront, I love that I can walk in and grab a couple macarons, a brownie, or a cookie when I'm craving something sweet! The space was very bright, clean, and inviting - all while definitely staying on brand. Next time you are in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and stop in for a chocolate chip cookie or a cake snack!

I love SWANK desserts! The head pastry chef is phenomenal, professional, and o so creative and talented! I love the opportunity to work with her. I have used her for three different events and cant wait for the next opportunity to work with her.

The presentation of her work is almost as delicious as the desserts. She does an amazing Champagne flavored Macaroon and she can add pop rocks, yes that's right, POP ROCKS to them! Simply amazing to bring to any event! Every time I bring them, people fall in love!

We got the apple pie macaron and the milk chocolate horchata macaron. Both were delicious. We got the apple pie cake of the day, and the vanilla and smoked caramel cake. Then my kids got a brownie and the brown butter brownie. All of it was really tasty!

I have been a patron of Swank since before the storefront even opened, and I'm honestly surprised I haven't already reviewed this establishment.
I have brought coworkers, friends, and family to this wonderful store. At one point I joked that I was an unofficial Swank ambassador.
Why do I love it?
The appearance - the interior is beautiful, modern, and the beautiful aqua color is pleasing and calming to the eye - a wonderful accent.
The service - the entire staff, but Danetra and Amanda especially, work their tails off to provide everyone a wonderful experience, whether it's the food itself or the ordering or the quick response to additional requests. They are *on it*.
The consumables - there's something I love about their embracing Hispanic flavors and incorporating them into the dishes. Horchata, Mexican hot chocolate, chorizo, and budinos are items you can anticipate to encounter (as the season allows). That takes me to another topic: the seasonal menu. The fact that I can get a s'mores macaron one month and a lavender earl gray caramel macaron the next. Maybe there's a sweet potato cheesecake now, but then you may come across their lemon meringue bars a bit later. Perhaps now there's a maple cold brew, but come summer there is a passionfruit and thyme lemonade. It keeps the menu from stagnating while also letting you look forward to the return of the next season's items. And it's all absolutely delicious. Like, foot stamping and thanking God delicious.
The events and pre-orders - Swank has beautiful items exclusive for holiday orders, be it Christmas macarons in little ornament balls, Thanksgiving dressing (don't get me STARTED on how wonderful the pies are), or their annual, magical Happee Birthdae Harry event. I've also purchased her celebration cakes on multiple occasions (banana pudding, strawberries and champagne, and toasted coconut and passionfruit) and they have been nothing short of amazing.
I love that Danetra continues to invest in her storefront, that I've seen so many new additions and little touches over time that just add to the store's luxurious feel, and I cannot WAIT to see what the years bring.
I wish this establishment nothing but the best of success because that is really what it deserves ❤
Oh and I fully intend to have them cater at my wedding (because of course).

If you're craving sweets, this is the place to go to !! Everything is made from scratch (even the marshmallow) and its absolutely delicious. Go right when they open or earlier as they do sell out especially on a special occasion. Today was National Macaron day so it was crazy busy. As a thank you for standing in line early during a cold morning they graciously gave out hot chocolate with homemade marshmallow on top. The best I've ever tasted !!!! If you're visiting Charleston, take the drive to Summerville to check Swank out! Worth the drive wherever you're coming from.
