Flowertown Bed & Breakfast

We absolutely loved our stay at Flowertown B&B, we only wish that we could have stayed longer. The cottage behind the main house in the gardens was so lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast delicious.
Carol was a gracious host and made sure everything was to our liking.
Summerville is such a quaint town with fabulous restaurants and shops, and just a 20 minute drive to Charleston. We definitely will be back to Flowertown! Thank you Carol for all the TLC you have put in to your beautiful Southern home.

We were visiting Summerville for a family wedding and stayed for two nights at the Flowertown B&B. Carol and Chris were welcoming and gracious, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed strolling in the garden and chatting with our fellow guests during breakfast. We would definitely return to Flowertown B&B.

My wife and I have driven past the Flowertown B&B many times while visiting our daughter and her family in Summerville and thought, "What a charming place." We planned to visit the week of our anniversary and decided to do something extra special, so we made reservations for the Hydrangea/Blue Room. What a treat! The house is beautifully furnished with period pieces. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We felt very secure and it was so quiet and private even though a small wedding ceremony was being held downstairs. Everyone was so nice. Carol is a wonderful host. The fruit cup and stuffed baked pancake breakfast she served on her stunning vintage china was both elegant and delicious and topped only by her joining us for conversation. We will most definitely return soon!

B&B is a wonderful place to stay. Beautifully decorated. Carol, our host is the best. I can't say enough good a pit her. Makes you feel so welcome and such a good cook. So sweet.

We had a delightful time at Flowertown Band B. We slept great and felt comfortable and relaxed, like home. Our breakfast was delicious fruits, muffins and cream brule' french toast was great. Breakfast changes so can't promise it'll be there again or when. A definite recommend.

Carol and Chris are the best hosts you will ever find. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The rooms are much larger than I thought and I slept so well on the bed. Carol's breakfast was AMAZING. Fruit compotes and pancakes and oatmeal and OJ.It was a feast. Carol gave us great advice on things to do in Charleston and Summerville. It was an absolute delight to stay and visit. I can't wait to come back.

Beautiful facility, both inside and out. Room was wonderful with so much space. The Christmas decorations were stunning. If you’re visiting during the Winter holidays, you will not be disappointed. Carol’s breakfast was delicious. Even our picky-eater four year old ate, which is no small feat. Carol was wonderful and kind. She sat and talked with us during breakfast. We don’t often stay at B&Bs, but stays like this make us want to more often.

I planned my mother's Surprise birthday luncheon at high tea a couple weeks ago, and Carol was Very kind and Very accommodating! We were situated in a BEAUTIFUL Spacious room which had a large living room, and dining room area. The dining room table was BEAUTIFULLY adorned with China, lace napkins, and flowers. The table setting was so Lovely! Carol provided a nice variety of delicious sandwiches, scrumptious scones, a few sauces to put on our scones, and little dessert bites, to go with our delicious tea. She even brought out a mini birthday dessert lit with a candle, for my mom. It was a very relaxing and Enjoyable afternoon! Thank you, Carol for Everything, for make my mom feel so Special! We all Enjoyed our time, Immensely! We would love to come back! I HIGHLY recommend Flowertown Bed and Bfast for your stay, or special luncheon!

We had a wonderful visit with Carol and Chris at the Flowertown B&B. Everything was beautiful and welcoming. And the breakfast was outstanding! Thank you for making our stay so special. Hope we can return again sometime.

Found this charming b&b right down the street from historic downtown Summerville. It has been meticulously restored and cared for by lovely people. With 12 foot ceilings, Victorian era antiques(some original to the house) and a beautiful garden, we felt like we had gone back in time…and we were able to totally relax and enjoy our long weekend. Carol shared her home and her life with us and we enjoyed having her special breakfast around the table with other guests, hearing their stories and sharing ours. We will definitely be back!

We had our daughter’s baby shower here in December. We could not have been happier. From the start to finish, Carol was fantastic. Took control of the event and managed all.
Our guests were so impressed with this beautiful home and the food was great. We will be back for other special events as this place (and Carol) is so special.

My husband and I went for the weekend. We had a fun, relaxing, and amazing time.Carol made the entire experience perfect. Everything was set up before we arrived. The room was clean and welcoming and had a comfortable feel to it. We added the romantic package. So the pictures I added were waiting for us when we arrived. We felt safe there all weekend. At breakfast we enjoyed conversations with another couple who stayed there and Carol joined us. We had great conversation and discussion and I loved that she joined us. The food was delicious and filling. She even catered and cooked to my dietary needs of being gluten free and vegan. The house inside is beautiful and immaculate and decorated perfectly. We definitely recommend and will be returning.

I had my baby shower here recently and it was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding!!! And they decorated the entire place so cute!

I've never stayed here as far as the bed and breakfast goes, so cannot say anything about that. But having a party/group gathering here j highly recommend

Visited Flowertown B&B this evening as a part of Katie's Krops holiday event. As when I've visited before, the house was absolutely gorgeous inside.

The ornate and beautifully decorated staircase which includes a nutcracker on each step is not to be missed! As well as the lovely trees and beautifully set table!

Carol served delicious home-baked goods and a wonderful Russian tea.

This B&B is truly a Summerville gem!

I had the most enchanting experience at this lovely bed and breakfast. The Victorian home exuded charm with its intricate, beautiful details that transported me to another era. The gardens were simply spectacular, offering a serene oasis for relaxation and contemplation.

What truly made this stay exceptional was Carol, the gracious host of the house. She was incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring that every need and request was met with a smile. Her warmth and attention to detail made the entire experience feel like a home away from home.

In fact, I was so taken by the place that I decided to host my wedding here. The picturesque setting, combined with the impeccable service, made it the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. My guests were equally enamored with the charm of the Victorian home and the breathtaking gardens.

Overall, this bed and breakfast is a hidden gem, and I can't recommend it enough for a romantic getaway, a peaceful retreat, or even a memorable event like a wedding.

Flowertown B&B is a wonderful find. The location is great with plenty of restaurants nearby, and close access to Charleston proper. The breakfasts were all excellent. The cottage was clean and quiet with a fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, and even a washer/dryer combo. Carol and Chris are very friendly and fun to chat with.

This has been one of our favorite vacations in a long time, in no small part thanks to this wonderful B&B and the hosts.

Carol and Chris are absolutely fabulous hosts! My wife and I stayed at Flowertown about 8 years ago (previous owner). During this stay (August 18, 2033), we were amazed by the transformation of the house, the gardens and the entire approach to "hosting". You can truly tell that this is a passion, not a profession for both of them.

In addition to the excellent accomodations and food, Carol will answer any questions you may have about any of the phenomenal antiques throughout the house. The story of her box piano is right out of Antiques Roadshow!
