Spot on great food and atmosphere. Kameron was our server and he was fantastic. The shepherd's pie was great though technically cottage pie since it's made with ground beef and not ground lamb. Just in case you're wanting lamb.

I've has some amazing Irish food but nothing has come close to this place. The fisherman stew was amazing and took me back to my childhood. The Irish stew though was something else entirely. It is MAGICAL. Do yourself a favor, check this place out. Best food I've had in years and it's not close.

One of my favorite Irish Pubs. The food is on point, service is great and the beer is always delicious! I highly recommend you stop by!

Love everything about this place!! First time I have gotten to try their brunch but it was delicious, highly recommend the green tomato BLT. Been here a few times and the food and service is always stupendous!! I enjoy the atmosphere as well but my family did say it was a bit dim inside so grandpa struggled to see the menu so just be aware of that.

Found us a great Irish family place!!! Since moving to the area we have not found any good Irish food and libations! We’ll come by Red Fox “Madra Rua” for any celebration or just to get a few pints. Got the Shepards pie and French dip, I’ll be back for sure.

This place feels like a pub in Ireland more than any other place in the area. I love the private booths. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience here. My favorite dishes include the Irish soda bread, cheese fries, fish and chips, onion rings, and beer cheese soup.

This is the 2nd time I've eaten here, both were delicious! I had the Madra Rua breakfast bowl with a biscuit. It was great. We were sat at a table that's practically in it's own room which created an intimate atmosphere away from the bustle of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

Love the place. First time I went was for Irish New Year, which could have been better organized. 😆
But, the food and Peated Scotch was a home run. Been back a couple times since then. Very reliable for hood food and drink.

Nice Irish Pub. They had trivia but we did not play lots there did. It seemed like a lot if fun but I only knew half the answers lol. Got the fish and chips delicious and very filling. Hubby got fisherman's pie and really enjoyed it. Service was good and waitress very friendly. Nice night out. And onions rings were good but share an order kind of on expensive side.

My son got married on July 1, 2023. We were having a very hard time finding a place to have a farewell brunch the day after the wedding that wasn’t a buffet. Madra Rua made a reservation for our large party and did individual meals. Our food all came out at the same time and was delicious. The service and environment was excellent. I have always enjoyed eating here, and this really solidified them as an excellent restaurant in my book.

We had the Irish nachos as an appetizer, (which was amazing!) And we had the traditional Irish stew and the open-faced meatloaf with mashed potatoes!! Everything was to die for and the bartender was fantastic! We will definitely be back!

Great establishment y'all! 👍🏿 It's cozy inside so I would imagine when it is crowded the more introverted of us might be intimidated, but they have some private seats that are perfect for a small group. Wait staff was quick and super informative. The food was great! Not greasy, everything that was supposed to be crispy was, and the portions where excellent. We will definitely be back as lunch regulars.

This place is the gem of Summerville. Every night there is a special that brings you back the next night.
Back in 2020 Started with a respectable Old Fashioned and excellent Grinder tacos. Main course was the Prime Rib sandwich with fries.

It's one of the best restaurants in the area. They have traditional irish cuisine and drinks. The food is a tad on the expensive side, but that's due to the fact that the portion sizes are so big. I highly suggest trying the corned beef and cabbage at least once. Every time we've been here, it's generally been before 8 pm, and the service is great. We never have to wait very long for our food or drinks.

My daughters and I visited this location on September 21st. The food was amazing. Our server, Michael C, was absolutely phenomenal!!!!!! He made us feel welcome. We can't wait to come back.

This place is just the best. The staff is always on point, prices are not bad and the food is good. I will take off one star for the seating, I'm old I need a chair with a back lol. I could spend hours in there just hanging with friends and having food and drinks.

A little out of the way and easy to pass but worth the adventure to get there. Food is unrivaled even if it's a bit expensive at times. Staff is the best with special kudos to Jeremy and Michael for making every trip memorable.

Madra Rua Irish Pub was a fun food place to go and take our large family. I ordered Shepard's Pie. My meal was a big YUM! Besides plenty of seating options for accommodating lots of people, you can find a cozy corner for two. Service was attentive and friendly. Recommend for some good eats!

Fast service and great food. The wait time on drinks and orders was minimal. I recommend the prime rib beef sandwich! Add the loaded fries and you will not be disappointed. The waiter was very attentive. He had our drinks topped off always. The best part is the reasonable prices. Overall my group and I had a pleasant dinning experience. I recommend this place and will be a returning customer.
