Wild Rover III

We chartered the Wild Rover III to scatter a family member’s ashes at sea. Captain Dave did a great job and made the event very special for us. We especially appreciated his experience doing that kind of thing, turning three circles around the spot before departing the area, and presenting us with a certificate with the coordinates for where we did the ceremony.

Capt Dave is a good honest guy and great fisherman. The day we were supposed to go out was real rough weather, instead of taking our money and taking us out anyway he suggested we hold off. We went the next day on a short afternoon charter and even after a storm and in the hot sun put plenty of fish in the boat.

Fantastic Charter! Captain Dave and Adam take great care of you. We've done two trips with them in the past year, both were a fantastic, memorable, for our whole family. The boat is great, well equipped same for rods, reels, bait and all the extras. We caught our limit on both trips. Captain Dave is a great host.. Highly Recommended. ☆☆☆☆☆☆

Dave and Brandon were great. This was the first time taking our 6 year old out and they were sure to make it the best for him. Brandon was patient and did an amazing job explaining how to pull the fish in and handing the twisted line (we did) without complaining once. Dave was friendly and extremely hospitable and help us plan the right trip to fit us. We were on the fish all day. I will be returning and will be booking with them again.

Went out with captain jeff and mate blake this Sunday for my annual birthday fishing trip! What a freakin blast! These guys are top of the line quality. It was more than fun! Definitely one for the books out of many boats ive fished on! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Captain Dave and first mate Blake gave us a great afternoon of fishing. Caught lots of Spanish mackerel. Blake did a great job cleaning and bagging them after the trip. They did a great job entertaining our 9 year old. He even got to drive the boat. The 9 year-old got to reel in the downriggers because we weren't sure he could reel in the actual poles, which was perfect!

Captain Dave and mate Adam were all about making the fishing fun. It was obvious that they enjoy what they do, are very personable, and know what they are doing. Our 5 hour charter was a blast. All we needed to do was alternate reeling in many nice Spanish mackerels. The Wild Rover III was a comfortable, clean, ocean worthy vessel with all the amenities you need. I intend to rebook with Captain Dave on my next fishing trip.

We did a 10 hour trolling trip with Captain Dave and his first mate Brandon. The weather was great and the ocean was calm. Dave and Brandon put us on fish as soon as we started. We had a great time

We had a great time with Captain Dave and Tyler. We went out with our 2 young boys when the weather was questionable but Captain Dave and Tyler worked hard to make sure we still had a great time and caught fish! My two kids had a great time! Also, the boat is fantastic. It has a completely enclosed area with A/C, which ended up being important for us with the rain and one person who was sea sick. I highly recommend this charter!

Captain Dave Tilly and 1st mate Adam are 1st class. We went on a 5 hour in shore trolling trip that produced a lot of big blues and some Spanish mackerel... Very please with the outcome and could not have asked for a nicer captain and 1st Mate. We enjoyed our trip so much that we have already booked a 14 hour Gulf Stream trip for June 22nd. All I can say is you have a lot of choices at Carolina beach but your best one will be with captain Dave Tilly world class fishing at his best. This is the one.!!!!!!

Went out for a 5 hour trip and Captain Tilley and his First Mate made this a very memorable trip for my three boys aged 8 - 10 - 14. Not only did they know where the fish were but they made it enjoyable for the littles. We will be back again next year for a longer trip thank you for the memories.

We had a great time on our 5 hour trip. Captain Dave Tilley & Adam were very welcoming and made sure we had a great time. We caught 31 Spanish on our trip & couldn’t of asked for a better time. Can’t wait to book another trip and highly recommend if looking to catch fish and have a fun trip!

Went fishing with my Dad on Capt. Dave Tilley's Charter Boat. What a great trip. Capt. Dave and 1st mate Adam were awesome. They put us on the fish. We caught 39 Spanish Mackerel and 1 Bonita. Great experience. Great memory.

We had a blast. On a whim, we called Capt. Dave from breakfast in our hotel around 9 am on a Wednesday in April. He picked up and said he could take us out at 11 am. We were 30 minutes late, he said no problem. We went out for 4 hrs and decided to change to 6 hrs. No problem. Then Bob and Nolan put us on Mackerel almost the whole time. We limited out and the captain and crew were patient with our 7, 9 and 10 year olds as they caught big fish for the first time. Highly recommend and will be back! Thanks Wild Rover III Crew!!!

Absolutely "First Class". We caught fish while the other boats were not. We did a 5 hour trip and will do a longer one next time. Captain Dave and Tyler are "good people" . They call it fishing not catching so if you're on a day when they are not biting you could not be with better people. Fishing was great for us on our vacation July 11, 2018.

We had a great day of fishing. Captain Dave and his crew kept us on the fish all day long. I will definitely be booking another trip on the Wild Rover III.

Went out with Captain Tilley and Adam today. Both men were generous and great to talk with. They were kind and accommodating to my children. Fishing was slow today (listening to the radio the whole fleet was slow) and Captain Tilley took us out 5 miles further than normal to do his best to get us some fish. Which paying for only a 4 hour trip probably really ate into some fuel. We did end up with 5 mackerel and had a great time. Will go back and hopefully it's to the gulfstream next time.

Writing this from the boat on the way in, what a wonderful time with my son and Captain Dave and his mate Nolan, caught our limits in King Mackrel, caught a few albacore, Capt Dave had us on the fish and having one hell of a time. Will be back 100%. Would recommend anyone looking for a deep sea fishing charter to book Capt Dave and The Wild Rover III
