God, it’s nice to find professionals.
Radio shop’s are hard to come by any more and when you do find them … anyway, I won’t waste characters on those places.
I’d read the reviews of Clays so I was pumped. I went in and met Adam. We chatted and he typed up a quote. I had just bought my truck recently and needed a new antenna for my Stryker 655 and needed everything hooked up. He gave me a price that I agreed to and started immediately. We chatted off and on the entire time he worked. He was friendly and professional and intelligent and cool. The actual installation is awesome. It’s stable and looks great. When he finished, he keyed up and they hear me in the next galaxy.
I plan to go home and get another component and ask them to hook it up as well.
I couldn’t be more complimentary about this shop. Especially Adam. And Clay for that matter. We chatted indoors for awhile and he’s a good fella.

Clay and Adam are the best! Had this 980 Bearcat installed on my 2023 F150. Being a new truck I was nervous, but Adam hit it out of the park! Highly recommended.

I took my general lee cb to 4 different benches and they couldnt fix it. I stumbled across clays cb shop and what a gem of a place. I left my cb with him for a few weeks due to him being super busy and came back to get it and boom he had it fixed well worth the wait. Now im walking the dog with this radio. In my opinion clay is the last of the dying breed when it comes to a true cb shop

Quick friendly and got me back working in an hour I was on my way. Will bring all my work needed on radios from now on for him to fix and tell others about him.

I can’t express enough how much this place helped me out, i rolled in needing my radio fixed, found out that it was damaged and they got me into a brand new Stryker SR-447hpc2 got it peeked and tuned and installed for me and also did a full install on a weeboost drive X OTR cell phone booster, they made me a priority showed great customer satisfaction, answered any question I had for them and taught me some things as well, I can’t recommend anywhere else in the country to get Citizens band radio work done then this place, Awesome people, Awesome service, Awesome prices you can’t go wrong at Clays Radio shop!

Was in a pinch and needed a radio for a long trip. I had time constraints on getting something to my door before I left. Despite the website description of normal processing times (with a tune up) they got my radio to me with plenty of time to spare. Top notch service. Will def be back for my next cb radio purchase. No need to look anywhere else!

There is only one man that I trust to ever touch my equipment again and his name is Clay. Absolutely fantastic experience. I brought in two radios. A Stryker 655 and a Stryker 447. Clay went through each radio and tuned them and aligned them properly to perform exactly how they should. Now my 447 was hacked up by another shop. The 2,000 ohm resistor got pulled out of it. Basically I had a Class A Splatter Box. Clay was able to replace that part, get the radio back into alignment and have the transmit and receive perfectly set up as it should be.

Adam his installer was fantastic to work with as well. I’m running a 36” shaft Browning flat coiled antenna on my Cascadia and Adam made sure to check my SWR’s with the Rig Expert Analyzer after the radios were tuned and repaired and the readings were perfect.

I left that shop happier than I’ve ever been. After purchasing nice radios only to have them hacked up or not properly tuned and aligned by other shops, it was a blessing to have Clay and his team help me out.

I had a bearcat 980 and cobra 29 lx peaked and tuned. Truck rewired and a new Wilson 5000 installed and tuned. It was all completed in 1/2 a day. During radio checks and communications during the next week. I am getting out loud and proud with just the 4 watts on the bearcat. 8 miles has been my max so far. Very professional installation. I would use them again.

I have a Ranger American Spirit that was working fine but then all of a sudden it would not transmit or receive. I took it to another CB shop & this repair man said that he couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it & that it would take him 10 to 20 hours to figure it out. He mentioned that there was a board in the back that he did not know what it was for & therefore did not want to investigate any further, all hope was lost. Then I heard about Clay’s CB shop down in San Antonio. I took my radio down to Clays, Adam at the front house of the shop took my information & told me it would be about two hours. Exactly 2 hours later they they me my radio was ready. Clay told me that the board in the back Was broken & that’s why I wasn’t transmitting or receiving, he fixed that. He also mentioned that the radio was out of alignment, off frequency & the squoch range was out of adjustment & the volume/squelch knob was not working properly. Clay fixed all these issues, and now my radio sounds better than it did before. Adam and Clay are the real deal. I trust them 110% with my radio & I recommend them to anybody else that has any CB problems.

This place is amazing. I cannot express enough gratitude for Clay. He took the time to explain everything I needed to know and answered any questions I had as I was making a big purchase as a gift to my husband. He helped me get exactly what I needed and then some. As a trucker my time is limited. I bought A Galaxy 98vhp from clay. And I cannot be more satisfied with the radio and service. I installed myself had to call clay for technical support and he was more than helpful. If I could give them a 10 I would. Thanks clay and to all your techs. I really appreciate the patients and professionalism. Which is hard to come by these days!

I made 2 different purchases with Clay's. Both of which they where professional and informative.
The radio they I purchased,Clay called me himself to make sure were on the same page as far as the mic to use and the proper wiring. I also purchased the antenna system from them and received the same expertise. All of which was online. So that kind of service in person could only be better. 34 years of over the road experience 20 of which owner op. Definitely one of the few top notch shops left...
