Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine

Beautiful church in the middle of the Westside. What more can you say than the pride and joy of the Westside. Pope John Paul the 2nd ventured here back in the 1980s if I'm not mistaken.

This church is beautiful! I was born on Guadalupe St.and love La Virgen de Guadalupe.. The priests n brothers who have served the people were all inspiring. I actually was a teachers aide at the Catholic School there in the 70’s. Viva nuestra Virgen de Guadalupe! Let’s keep her alive by going to visit the church; when you go inside you will see the beauty. At one time the Virgen shed tears.

This is MY church since childhood. I always drive there from Alamo Ranch to pray and be thankful for my blessings!!!

My daughter and I both did our Holy Communion there and the other sacraments. We really enjoyed our experience there. It's a very Beautiful Church.

My family has attended services here at Guadalupe Church. They have gotten babtized. Confirmed had quinceaneras here. Why. Because everyone is so friendly always feel welcomed. And we love Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Beautiful & clean Church. Everyone practicing social distance by sitting at every other pew. We attended a bi-lingual mass. Priest & Staff were friendly and respectful.

Great job on the restoration on the church. This church has been here since I was a child. A beautiful and historical place of worship.

You are so loved here !! You are accepted just as you are !! Always great food cooking , smells are Heavenly !! Fr Micheal is the most amazing , loving Priest !! His Homilies are a gift , he teaches me the Trinity in the world today , strengthens my spirit , challenges me to draw closer to our most precious Lord and Saviour as I am so happy to get to Mass , honored to be at Mass, loved, loved loved , so very happy as I return to the world empowered with armour of God to protect me until I return to Mass to refuel !!

Don't know what mass is like, I stopped by on a Saturday, but I was very pleased to discover another painted church in San Antonio. Built in 1921, it is a beautiful church and a beautiful tribute to Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Beautiful old church on the West Side of town close to Lanier High School! It's leaders always welcome newcomers and the parishioners are very friendly! It's a Catholic Church!

It's a beautiful church, clean, went for a baptismal explained it to the congression what was going on I really like that.

Its a visitor friendly place. People actually went up to us to welcome us and share a friendly hello, & introduction. It was comfortable in the a/c. & We will definitely visit again. Family friendly.💗👍 💪🙏😏

We are 3rd and 4th generation parish members at this blessed shrine. Born into poverty but blessed in life by his light...God is good all the time..
