Carmax Rivergate truly made the car-buying experience a low stress, low pressure, and efficient process. Sales associate Gerald M. was kind, listened attentively, and helped me find “my dream car” within my budget. He worked overtime to resolve and showed so much patience when I had some purchase/return/trade issues. The staff in the business office were also extremely kind and efficient! The business office staff made paperwork, title transfers, ect. an easy and low-stress process. They clearly explained each document and next steps!
When I had to interact with the service department they were quick to address the issues and fully honored the 90-warranty. The service center reps called routinely with updates and showed so much professionalism! Was overall so impressed with this CarMaxr!

I received an on line offer. When I made an appointment to sell my car to CatMax, I was greeted and helped to each.part of the car review process. My agent could not have been more helpful or prompt. Selling at.CarMax made.me feel gleeful and respected. They just get better and better!

This was my 2nd experience at a CarMax (prev. in Colorado). We are appreciative of help from sales, business, and service. We purchased 2 used vehicles, and after a week opted to keep only 1. We had zero issues from sales during our purchase - easy shopping with no pressure. We also had no issues with the sales/business office doing a return as well, and it was quick and painless. There was a minor issue with the vehicle we kept - we were set up with a complimentary loaner vehicle while that was fixed, free of charge. 5/5 I'll absolutely continue using CarMax.

Ethan Escue was absolutely amazing! He did everything he could to help me through the process of buying my car. My husband has been gone for 8 years and this is the first I have purchased a car by myself! He certainly was a gift from heaven for me! Wonderful experience. The General was the best at greeting me and answering all my questions!

Overall, our experience was excellent at the Rivergate location. Our process of selecting a vehicle was drawn out over a few days and the staff handled it seamlessly, for the most part. Our 2nd sales person was fairly new to the experience and required more back and forth to gain assistance with questions he was unsure. While this added some time to our purchase, I appreciate he gathered appropriate answers instead of trying to make it up.

The final pickup day was brilliantly orchestrated and painless. All questions were answered and everyone was helpful. Fantastic experience overall.

What do I love about CarMax? The variety of cars available in one place and at reasonable pricing. You can go and look/test drive different models and they provide no sales pressure, just a helpful bit of knowledge. This is my 4th car purchased from them and it had been a while. I was not disappointed.

So very easy to buy a car at CarMax. We walked around the lot with no hassle from a sales person. Decided on a car, took it for a test drive. Purchased the car and home we went. If you're interested in buying a car/truck go to CarMax!!! Love them.

I had an amazing experience with this branch and Carmax in general. I found a vehicle that was perfect for my family and had them hold it. Of course, as soon as I did that we had a family emergency and couldn’t find the time to come purchase the vehicle. I talked with Mike(salesman) and he held it for me for nearly a month. They could have easily sold the vehicle very fast but instead decided to help someone out that was going through a tough situation. I would recommend this branch to anyone who wants top quality service and no pressure sales that wants to purchase a reliable vehicle. Well done Carmax Rivergate!

I sold my Mustang to carmax and from the initial greet to the signing paperwork A+ ! I spoke with the lady at the selling desk and asked if they could pay my loan asap since I’m buying a house and she told me she would rush it … me thinking “that’s what they all say” but man did she deliver! Signed on Friday and paid loan off Monday! This experience made me a carmax customer! Thank you so much !

It was a good experience!! The lady that helped us was named Kathy I think! She and another guy(supervisor i think) went above and beyond to make our experience as easy as possible and I drove off very Happy! Also the girl Brittany ( I think) in the back where you have to sign final papers was awesome herself! She made it alot of fun signing your life away! Lol

In all my years I have never had a more pleasant experience in purchasing a vehicle than I did yesterday. Our rep was well informed, kind and courteous. The process of walking into the store to driving away in a new vehicle was quick and efficient relatively speaking to purchases from other dealers. I bought my 2014 Toyota Rav4 from Carmax.

I wanted a no-hassle buy with few worries about what I might need to repair on the car after I test-drive it or buy it. I saw the car I wanted on Carmax's website. I was able to see the full vehicle history, see that it had been serviced regularly at Toyota from the very beginning and had been maintained according to manufacturer's specifications. I knew I was paying a premium price, but again, I wanted a smooth and fast transaction process without having to take multiple cars on test-drives to mechanics for multiple inspections. When I arrived to purchase the car that I chose online, everything was ready for me and my license plate was transferred immediately. I drove away the same hour confident that I could return the car within 30 days if I didn't like it. That meant I had 30 days to go to the mechanic at my leisure to get it inspected. (The mechanic said he found nothing wrong and the condition was quite good with new tires, brakes, etc.) I still have 90 days in case the car for some unknown reason needs major repairs - Carmax guarantees to pay for them (drivetrain, engine, transmission, etc.).

One thing I thought didn't look good were the floor mats. They were not OEM and too small for my vehicle. I mentioned this in passing and got an email the next day stating they would reimburse me for the floor mats that I chose from Toyota.

I feel like if I need anything the next 30-90 days, I can just give them a call or email them and get immediate response.

I completely love my car and the easy non stressful way to buy. It was been hard to find a car for a disabled person like me who needs the extra package this car has so I can keep driving.
I first want to thank Cc from the Sales Department who did an awesome job especially with me changing the car several times. She was patient and had everything ready for us when we came to test drive and buy this car she had everything set up and in order. Cc is a huge asset to this organization.
Joe from the Service Department made sure the paint was perfect when I had a small issue with my hood, it was fixed less than 24 hours! Joe went through all the information I needed for regular maintenance to my Nissan. He made things so easy and stress free. Joe is another great employee who I feel is a great asset to this organization.
I have never had such an easy and no pressure to buy or the hours of sitting and doing paperwork as I have with CarMax. My husband regrets not using them for his latest purchase.
However down the road we will only be doing business with this company. Highly recommend and a very happy customer.

I couldn’t just keep my experience to myself, it had to be shared with others! I had the best time purchasing my car through Carmax, but it wouldn’t have been perfect without Steve + Aiden! They made the transaction so smooth and answered alllll of my questions, concerns, and were so thorough in explaining everything. Aiden was so kind + informative, genuine and honest…he’s the best!
Although we didn’t “complete” the sale through them, I felt compelled to leave a review because my experience was so great thanks to Aiden! I’m not a big fan of no negotiating when trading in and purchasing a car, but I was offered a fair trade in value and Carmax had the car I had been searching for at a great price. That combined with a completely painless process that I was able to do almost completely online made this a great experience. Reserved the car and got everything ready while I was out of town, drove over the day I got home, and had my new car in about two hours (probably could’ve been done in an hour if you’re quicker at deciding than I am).

I appreciated my salesman Jason taking time to properly explain to me the warranty options to ensure I had a warranty I was comfortable with.

I found filthy engine and cabin air filters after I bought the car and they were quick to correct this and apologized for missing it during the car’s service. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Carmax again!
