Durango Coffee Company

I visited Durango Coffee Company with my friend Katie back in March. We were both traveling to Durango with a Youth Group we serve in. I had only had black coffee all week and was really looking forward to going “into town.” Coffee was a high priority for me! What’s funny is I saw a gal walking down the street with an iced latte, and I literally stopped her and asked where she got it. She shared that it was from Durango Coffee Company and sort of shared how to get there from where we were talking! I knew from that moment that was where I was going. The atmosphere in Durango Coffee Company is amazing! There were a lot of people working or visiting in the space. You could tell it was a popular spot! I ordered the Cardamom Rose Latte. While I was waiting for my drink I browsed their sort of market area. They had a large selection of home goods and locally made items/art! I took the first sip of my latte and it was heavenly!! It was exactly what I wanted. Super, super good! The coffee sleeve was so cute!! It just elevated the coffee even more! The Durango Coffee Company team was professional and courteous. I highly recommend this shop! THANK YOU, DURANGO COFFEE COMPANY!!

This has been my coffee spot for years. I love it, this time was even better. I feel like the people working were more friendly. They have a gift shop to look around while you wait on your coffee. And first time I’ve found hemp milk in a while, not even CA or NY could I find it. We had a coconut hemp and blueberry honey hemp latte. So good! Prices seem about normal and it’s always busy but I didn’t feel the wait was bad browsing through the gifts. It is right on Main Street, perfect location.

Silky smooth coffee with perfectly balanced flavors. Deep roast is nothing short of perfect. Consistently wonderful. Tasty baked treats too. Diverse menu offering something for everyone.

Indoor seating has solid character. Gives off a deep eclectic retro vibe. Or grab a seat outside. Perfect for enjoying beautiful weather while people watching.

Small area in the back offering sundries for purchase. Fun to browse while waiting for your elixir.

Staff are a mixed bag. Most are courteous, a bit reserved, but genuine. Unfortunately one seemed annoyed by everyone and everything.

From the single origin coffees, to the aesthetic, to the great baristas, you can’t go wrong at the Durango coffee company. I absolutely love this place, and it’s one of my favorite reasons to be in the beautiful city of Durango. The massive mustang photos on the wall and the natural old west theme are truly epic. It’s got a local vibe, great operating hours, and the place can be packed.

Had a latte and bacon breakfast burrito. The burritos are huge. Latte was pretty good - almost comparable to Denver. Steamed milk could have been less airy. Atmosphere is laid back and nice.

Great cafe in Durango. We just went in for a coffee and a cookie, all good. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and the service was fine. A great place to relax before you move on with your day!

Great spot to taste a break while walking downtown Durango. Somewhat spacious (can seat around 40) and relaxed, cowboy/bluegrass music in the background... Oh, yeah - the coffee is very good.

We love DCC! The owner and staff are always so warm and welcoming. Great selection of home goods, I shop there regularly for gifts. Plus the coffee and muffins are delicious!

Really amazing spot. Located in the heart of the historic old town durango, this lovely coffee shop is dripping with character and charm. Better yet it served me one of the best lattes of my life! Orange mocha, so amazing. Service was top notch too! Don't hesitate to visit this Gem!

The coffee is fantastic and the people are great. They had an issue with their grinder and it backed up the espresso, the only issue I had with the wait was they seemed to focus on the in-house orders instead of following the ordering pattern. Even after waiting 40 min for my coffee so I could get back on the road, I would still go back. The espresso they pull is smooth and they really know how to pull a great shot.

Smells wonderful on walking in and it’s a nice cozy atmosphere. We got the Orange Borgia and Irish Cream nitro. HIGHLY recommend the Orange Borgia; tastes like those fancy orange truffles you get around Valentine’s Day. The nitro just tasted like mildly sweet iced coffee (couldn’t taste Irish cream) but it was still enjoyable. Also, they have a little shopping corner inside where you can buy cute kitchen items, locally made art, and bags of their roasted coffee beans. Definitely recommend stopping in.

A lovely coffee shop with an equally lovely atmosphere. I just love the decor and the entire vibe. We enjoyed our coffees and pastries.

There's plenty of seating available. It's a great place to enjoy coffee with a friend or work on your laptop for the morning. There was a good mix of people there for work and people their to socialize. There's also stylish outside seating available.

Durango Coffee Company is a large coffee shop with tons of seating, retail, and solid coffee. If you're out on main street shopping, it's a welcome resting point. Great atmosphere and lots of shopping alongside the coffee.

Great casual atmosphere offering wonderful bakery choices and many hot and cold beverages. There are also some interesting food, kitchen, and clothing items for purchase. The barista was excellent and friendly. I heartily recommend this cute place! ☕

It's all about the coffee. This place does not disappoint. I highly recommend that you stop in and enjoy this shop. It is so homey and friendly, and relaxing too.

The seating is a collection of things that you might find in your living room, couches and chairs. It's so comfortable to just sit and enjoy your coffee.

The shop owner was also so friendly and helpful in explaining some of the items on their menu.

My party had a specialty espresso drink, a coffee, and one of their smoothies. Our drinks were made cheerfully and with much attention to detail. And the flavor was as you would expect. Delicious.

Durango certainly has a lot of choices for your coffee experiences, but this is certainly one that you should take in.

I live on the road and seek out interesting coffee shops for my caffeine enjoyment. You won't be disappointed.

One of the most perfectly done cafes in the world! Plenty of comfortable seating and niche spots to have a little privacy. Even had comfy chairs in their front patio seating. Great place to work or relax!

This is what a local coffee shop should be like. Quirky decorations, different seating arrangements, comfy relaxed vibe, smooth music... and awesome coffee and tea. The baristas are also very friendly and use your name as though you're a good friend. There are also lots of places to bring a laptop and work. There is a huge ornate table and mirror that is worth the visit alone. And make sure to visit the restrooms to see the Vendetta mural along the way.

I love the haphazard arrangement of old school furniture, very fitting into the cowboy town. I’ll be back just to hang out on the couch.
