City On A Hill Coffee & Roastery

City On A Hill is the only doughnut shop in Cañon City, and it does not disappoint! If you miss/remember Rollers doughnuts, they are using Roller’s recipes and making some of their own new treats. The doughnuts are some of the best I’ve ever had! Especially the maple-glazed Apple fritter. Wow. The coffee is exceptional and serve yourself. Lots of seating, from tables to couches to laptop counters. What a gem on Main Street. For the best selection of doughnuts, get there early. A treat not to be missed!

Great coffee and pastries are amazing. But, thr atmosphere and friendly kind people behind the counter make it worth the visit!!! Glad Canon City has you!

This place is a great coffee shop with excellent customer service. Perfect for doing some work or stopping in with the family. I would also highly recommend the Ham and Cheese Croissants.

What a beautiful historic building and perfect coffee house vibe this place has! The selection of beverages is plenty diverse without being overwhelming. Coffee was perfect, prices reasonable, very clean establishment and the Blueberry Cake donut was heavenly!

This was our favorite stop while in Canon City. Best service, the lady behind the counter was so helpful in packing my wife and daughters food to go, even warmed it up and provided lots of napkins. Apple fritter was perfect, cinnamon roll was large and tasty and my wife’s chocolate pastry was delicious. The drip coffee was good, and my daughter liked the hot apple cider, would recommend a stop if you have time.

Absolutely adore this coffee and pastry shop! Wonderful food (especially the doughnuts) and amazing coffee. The staff always have a smile on their faces and the local art in the shop you can purchase is also really cute

We were in Cañón City 2 nights but came here three times- that’s how good it was. The chamomile tea latte was my favorite! Others ordered lattes… hot and cold, merch and pastries. I hope I have the name right: Joanna was friendly and helpful! We plan to be back on our next trip thru Cañón City.

Perfect little coffee shoo, breakfast spot. Quaint, kind, warm, and delicious foods and pastries! One of the best stops for coffee/rolls in town!

Excellent cafe with some wonderful baked goods; the croissant and twists were fantastic. Went in for the iced chai, and had all the plant-based milks to choose from ... just an incredible mix with perfect spice.

I pretty much never leave reviews, but I felt compelled to in this case. I'm in town visiting family and came here for breakfast on our first morning. It was so good I came back the second morning and brought my wife. The vegan breakfast burrito they serve was the best breakfast burrito I have had in my life, and blew the meat options out of the water. The lemon poppyseed muffin was incredibly moist and fluffy, and the scones were delectable. We'll be returning every day until we head home.

I recently visited City on a Hill coffee shop in Leadville Colorado and had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door. The coffee was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I also appreciated the wide selection of pastries and sandwiches available. Overall, I would highly recommend City on a Hill coffee shop to anyone visiting Leadville. The staff's friendly demeanor and the high-quality coffee and food make it a standout coffee shop in the area.

First off, when you go to a coffee shop in Cañon, you go to see and to be seen. Seriously, the coffee is good, but it's the people that make this place amazing. The staff is super friendly, the owner is hospitable, and when the kitchen starts cooking the place smells amazing. Plus it seems like the entire cross section of Canon's community is there at different times throughout the day.

Stop in sometime. We'll probably see each other :)

I don't drink coffee but I regularly consume an amount of baked goods that I would rather not disclose to my physician. The bakery here is so dang good. Great variety of savory and sweet. And breakfast burritos done right all day long.

Met a friend for Saturday morning coffee. Enjoyable place with an array of homemade goodies to eat. Coffee was good and atmosphere was pleasant. Staff were very friendly

Came here a couple times with my sister while visiting. Good monthly special and good chai tea. Good selection of donuts as well.
