Reviewing because it's seems a lot of people have had issues with prescriptions. We had a great experience recently - the other Walgreens had screwed up a prescription and the pharmacist here was really helpful in sorting it out.

Just want to say thank you to the Pharmacy staff.I am working here for the summer and my meds from NE did not arrive in the mail as expected.
Walgreens communicated with my pharmacy in NE and where able to fill enough of my medication till mine would arrive in the mail.
Highly professional and communicated very well.
I was nervous even entertaining this as an option ,however Walgreens made me feel valued and wanted to make sure I had what I needed till mine arrive.

I love Walgreens when it comes to price and selection. I ordered a prescription on their app and received a text when it was ready. I love the look of the newly remodeled store. It is clean and well lit. The pharmacist and staff were eager to assist. I will be shopping here regularly.

I've been using this Pharmacy for many years. They have always been very easy to deal with and usually have in stock what I need. On one occaision when they gave me the wrong dosage of a drug and had to redo it, they waived the charge. It's the only pharmacy in Durango that I would use.

Very classy and beautiful dispensary. Loyalty program isn’t that bad, plus they have a spin the wheel game not to mention the awesome selection.

Pharmacy is only open 9-1:30 and 2-6 Monday through Friday.
Pharmacy is closed Saturday and Sunday.

The pharmacy is just ok. Some of the pharmacists are great, but they seem to have recently hired some really rude and dismissive assistants. That plus the fact that their prices are consistently higher than City Market has compelled me to move our prescriptions to City Market.

Something is seriously out of whack with the pharmacy. Temporarily and sporadically closing without notice to customers is unacceptable. I understand staffing problems these days, but they're putting people at risk.

If I could give this place a negative star review I would! We have been waiting on them to fill a simple birth control and blood pressure med for 3 days now and each day we have called and spoken to them they said oh it will be ready in an hour and each time we call back they just keep saying that. We finally just tried to go up there today and demand they make it right there but surprise this pharmacy closes at 6pm. What Walgreens pharmacy closes at 6pm on a Monday!?!? It’s also been 3 days without my months blood pressure meds which is incredibly dangerous. We need her meds asap and the people that work here clearly don’t care about anyone’s health and well being, even though that is literally their job.

This place needs to be shut down, or hire an entire new staff. “Temporarily” closing without any heads up or warning to any patients awaiting their prescriptions is an extremely dangerous move. I don’t see how it’s even legal. All prescriptions should’ve been sent to the other Walgreens in town, however people have been left to figure it out on their own. Prescriptions like antidepressants and other controlled substances can’t be transferred, and it is an absolute nightmare to have doctors cancel the refill, and then reassign the refill to another shop. What if the doctor is out of town? What do you think is going to happen when people have their medications, that they rely on, abruptly stopped? Why were the patients with pickup orders not alerted that the pharmacy was closed, “until further notice?” So many actions could have been taken to avoid a disaster like this. This is completely unacceptable and unbelievably unprofessional.

Generally I love Walgreens, I've gotten my meds from them and many cosmetics, every place I have lived. That ends here it seems, and I just transferred my prescriptions to Sav On. Don't get me wrong, the check out staff are always pleasant and friendly -- but the pharmacy staff are often unpleasant and they always seem to be having "staffing" issues whenever I need to get my meds (and close the whole pharmacy). It's just too frustrating to tolerate any more.
Also, be aware that Walgreens is the most expensive pharmacy to get your meds, whether out of pocket or with co-pay.
