Animas City Park

Excellent! Great grass, great quiet area, clean, beautiful natural views!

Well maintained and kept up. Plus I actually got to see some wildlife.

Beautiful wooded park next to the Animas River, perfect for fishing, dog-walking, biking, picnics, or just talking a stroll.

Just moved here in April but this is our go to park. Eddie loves it.

Very nice park for the kids to play at with lots of green grass for a picnic and just walk down the hill across the tracks and your at the Animas river. Get your feet wet or go for a swim.

wonderful location located towards the north end of Durango. Another very nice park located in the city limits of Durango with accessibility to the walking path.

Great little tucked out of sight strip of grass, trees, picnic tables, benches, slides & swings, doggie bags, bear proof trash recepticals, free parking, and all overlooking the animas river, a beautiful bridge with sidewalks &peek-over views, with a regularly passing whistle singin" cloud creatin' coal train right down the embankment from this cute "secret" park. Family shopping?Kids hate shopping? Split the responsibilities: one adult shops, one adult walks 0.5 of a block and PLAYS with those rowdy bored kids at Animas City Park and enjoy life a little!

Lovely extension of the bike path leads into an easy woodland trail.

Great place to encounter people on the wrong side of the bike path and trail.

Great place for a dog walk. Picnicking slides swings climbing wall. bridge crossing into a clubhouse. Very soft ground covering. covered table area with concrete floor

SMOOTH RIDING UNTIL YOU GET TO THE WHITE WATER RAPIDS THEN IT GETS FUN, AWESOME TRIP WITH THE FAMILY!

Fun little park by the river, nice and sunny, and also provides nice shady areas! It is along side a road but it's not to busy, so it still has a very peaceful vibe even with that considered.

Nice park with a walk alone the railroad, kids can see the train pass up close if you pick the right time. Small play area but we'll maintained

Clean park with nice playset. No restrooms.

It's a sweet little park, with picnic tables, benches and summer flowers along the Animas River Trail that runs by it.

Very clean! Bring the kids and the dogs. Everyone picks up after themselves. Great place for yoga and several secluded areas to jump in the river.

This park is great for sitting in the grass. 10/10 grass.
