Green Gables Park

This park is right down the street from where we live. Been coming here for years. It is always kept up well, and the playground was totally redone a couple years ago. The new playground equipment is great. There's a nice trail around the pond and plenty of large old trees for shade. You just have to watch your step because of all of the geese around there. Not to much you can do about that though.

Very cute little park. Playground is good for all ages, the little pond next to it is very peaceful. It would be a good place for family picnic.

Great beautiful and clean park! Our daughters loved it and we enjoyed it!

This is a fantastic park. It is close by, clean, well-maintained, and just a wonderful place to get some air.

Be warned. There are geese. You might need to pay a honking tax or get nipped.

Clean, Family friendly fun at Green Gables Park in Lakewood! This gem has an awesome playground, serene lake, beautiful trees and stunning views of the gorgeous Colorado Sky!

Wonderful park to do outdoor activities.

Big , clean ( other then the geese poop) but no trash or dog poop. Playground is Unique with artsy equipment but still an enjoyable way for toddler's to play on it. Had a porta-potty I , didn't look all gross and beat up. No graffiti, parking lot had plenty of space. Plenty of bench's & tables

Green Gables is a great park. It has a large field, often used for little kids' soccer or football practice. There's a baseball field, large pond and great playground with swings, a seesaw, a climbing dome and a few newfangled playground installations that I don't know to describe. Bottom line: it's our kids' favorite local park, and we've been to all of them.

One of my favorite days. Was chilling under one of the willow trees. Smoking some tobacco pipe(Larry's blend). Watching a baby duck learning to fly. There were also some geese

This park is so nice and quiet, I enjoy going there in the early morning hours after I get off work at 6am, a nice time just to sit there & wind down after some very stressful nights or just to collect my thoughts on what I need to accomplish later on in the day after I sleep for a few hours.

Love this park. Favourite close spot for dog walks. Plus another park right across the street.

Green Gables pond it's really nice a good place to take a walk and a lovely place to meditate I just wish that they stock up this pond with some fish or bass or something nice.

I had no idea this park had a playground until my daughter found the playground. This park to me is so relaxing.

Nice park, quiet. Has a lake and small playground area.

My kids played at the playground, and had a lot of fun. We'll probably stop by again soon.

The park is a great place for family and friends to meet and have a good time. 🙂
