We enjoyed everything about this place! Absolutely wonderful, authentic food and the staff were so sweet and friendly! They accommodated 10 of us, including an 11 month old. We will definitely come back every time we’re in Durango!

Super yummy food! The service was very good. The food got to us fast, and it was delicious. We got Beef Fried Rice, Egg Drop Soup, Chow Mein, and an Eggplant Dish. The fried rice was plentiful, with a great balance of rice to meat to vegetables. The egg drop soup was great. It was a little bland but had a big serving and many veggies and eggs. The chow main was all of our favorites with flavorful sauce, noodles, and veggies. We didn't finish all of it, so we had takeout boxes and got a fortune cookie at the end. This is an amazing place to stop by and eat when in downtown Durango.

Good Chinese food restaurant downtown. Parking is a little tricky so be prepared to search for a spot and weekdays is pay meter Parking with cash or card. Weekends free if you find a spot.
Good prices, good amount of food, good service.
Also plenty of shops and stores on the same block for after meal walk. Fantastic ice-cream shop right up the street.

I went to this place when I was 14. 25 years later I tried it again and I was shocked at how good the Chinese food was. Well I haven't been to China, unlike my boyfriend who had dinner with me I reminisced of some of the best experiences I've had in Southern California or San Francisco. The food was that good, the owner was working hard in her own business and everything was perfect. I regret not frequenting this establishment for the last 20 years. Looking forward to going back the next time I'm in Durango

33 years in business! This little Chinese restaurant was great! Stopped by after a ghost tour, (of which one of the stories was about May), and met May. She was a blast. Food was spectacular, prices were VERY reasonable. Highly recommended!

Omg!!! Yum!!!! I wished this place was open to Dine in, I would have returned before going back home. The food was good!! I ordered to go and honestly, one of the better Asian spots we've been to. I highly recommend the steak and lobster!

Just stopping in Durango for a few hours. Found this little gem on Main. Pretty clean and nicely decorated. Was seated immediately. Our waitress was humorous and efficient. Large menu. Got our food very quickly. We got the combo plate and shrimp w/lobster sauce. Both were very tasty! The meat was not fatty and the sauces were not overwhelming. Each low priced lunch plate comes with veggies, soup, a wonton and an egg roll. I would eat here again!

Excellent lunch special. We had beef with broccoli and moo goo gai pan. Both were delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Fast service.

Amazing!! Great food, wonderful atmosphere, and awesome staff. Im so glad the first place we went was horrible! It gave us the opportunity to have a new favorite place here in Durango!!!

Delicious and fresh food. If you like it spicy, then I would recommend requesting it that way. The sesame chicken had great flavor, but was not spicy at all. Next time I’m asking for 3 level spice. The egg flower soup was delicious. My brother ordered the eggplant Szechuan, could’ve used more heat, but the flavors were great! Definitely a Chinese restaurant that rises above being bland and sweet. We’ll go back for sure and request more “heat” on our orders.

Tasty Chinese-American food with big portions for very fair prices. The pan-fried dumpling are homemade and a must-try.. so good! Service is always super friendly and fast.

We started with the wontons for an appetizer. We had chicken curry, Shrimp/Veggies and chicken/veggies (I can’t remember the names of the dishes). Everything was great. The vegetable were cooked perfect. Thanks for a nice evening.

We have enjoyed May Palace’s lunch specials and have gone back 3 times in the last month. The entire staff is pleasant, food is served hot and the value of their lunch specials can’t be beat. We would highly recommend May Palace.

The lemon chicken and the szechuan chicken were both delicious. The plum wine was amazing, especially for only $5 a glass.

We travel a lot and eat Chinese wherever we go. The best Egg Foo Yung my husband has ever eaten. The rice was very good and the Orange Chicken was Fabulous! The service was great and we loved the clean calm atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful meal. Highly recommend and a MUST stop while in Durango!!
