Dr. Jill Carnahan

Dr. Jill is a truly brilliant and amazing physician. She listens intently, shows compassion beautifully, and most importantly, she leaves her patients with hope! I am very thankful to know her and have her invaluable guidance on my journey back to health!

I don’t even know where to start! Dr. Carnahan is truly the most knowledgeable and empathetic doctor I have ever worked with (and I’ve worked with a lot!) What I love the most about being her patient is how much she CARES. It’s obvious in everything she does how much she cares for her patients, and how willing she is to go above and beyond to find the root cause in such a comprehensive way- physically, emotionally and spiritually. When I first became her patient over 4 years ago, I was incredibly sick with chronic Lyme disease, mold toxicity, thyroid issues & severe brain inflammation. She spent SO much time filtering through every piece of my testing, health history and personal history to make sure we put together a game plan that would be effective but not overwhelming. She also LISTENED, educated me along the way so I understood the WHY behind her recommendations, and made sure that every single one of my questions were answered.

I am now in the best health of my life, and (in addition to putting in the hard work on my health) I attribute the majority of my progress toward Dr. Carnahan and her exceptional care and expertise working with incredibly difficult and complicated illnesses/diagnoses. Could not have gotten to this place of health without her, and she truly saved my life. She’s also one of my biggest inspirations/motivators for entering the medical field myself to hopefully become a Functional Medicine Physician Assistant. If I can one day become half the provider Dr. Carnahan is, I will be so happy.

Dr Jill is extraordinary. Exceedingly intelligent, compassionate, dedicated, empathetic. She treats her patients with kindness, respect and the highest level of care. I have been extremely fortunate to have her as my doctor, and my family’s, for a decade. She treats the hardest patients, with complex chronic illness, and focuses on each individually. There is no “one size fits all” in her care. Where do I begin? There is this overwhelming sense of love and belonging as soon as you step foot into Dr. Jill office. The reception/medical staff is friendly and welcome you with a smile and an all around kindness. I felt cared for immediately. When meeting Dr. Jill’s, she greeted my husband and me with such a warm, kindness, we immediately felt loved and cared for. She has this sense of calm and faith about her that can help clear any nervousness. She is thorough and efficient in her tests. We are comfortable and confident in her advice and knowledge. Dr. Jill combines expertise and a willingness to listen and discuss. Since beginning treatment with her about 4 months ago, I am feeling healthy again post stage 2 breast cancer. My quality of life has increased, I am way more in tune with my body, mind, and spirit, I am feeling more clear-headed and have way more energy than ever before. Dr. Jill is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

Dr. Jill Carnahan is one of the most knowledgeable functional medicine physicians in the country, always at the vanguard of medicine. In addition to her impeccable scientific credentials and accomplishments, her genuine compassion and warm personality makes you feel like you are always talking to a dear friend; it is always such an great experience to have a consult with her. Being a physician myself, I put my health and wellness in her hands since 2018 when I discovered I had been exposed to toxin mold. I was floored by her unbelievable knowledge in bio-toxins and how quickly she started turning my situation around. I always mention Dr Jill's name to every person who is struggling with bio-toxins exposure or any other chronic conditions; if you want to have answers and heal, go to her!

I feel very lucky to have Dr Jill as my health care provider after a lifetime of seeing MDs who are really more "sick care providers" as a result of our medical model in this country. She makes the time in each appointment to truly listen and couples intuition and expertise in a really effective manner.

Dr. Jill is a superb doctor who sees health situations holistically, through many years of experience and research. She's not just smart (she is!), but she's also extremely knowledgeable about hard-to-diagnose & treat medical situations. I love that she can get to the root of the problem(s) and doesn't run out of ideas for how to treat it. Also, Dr. Jill is kind and generous, which is such an added and welcome benefit. When you don't feel good, it's wonderful to have a doctor who treats you with love and compassion. Even if you have to be on her wait list, Dr. Jill is worth the wait!

Five stars is not nearly enough to describe Dr.Jill. She is the most kind and compassionate person I have ever met who puts her heart and soul into the treatment of her patients. She is an outstanding physician who specializes in unraveling complicated layers of infection and disease associated with chronic illness. She spends time with you, listens to your story while looking for root cause, then integrates the most natural methods of healing for your individual needs. In addition, her entire staff is supportive, warm, and make you feel loved each time you interact with them. Words cannot express my gratitude for the work of Dr. Jill and the difference she has made in my life.

I've been with Dr Jill for about a year and if I could visually relay the abundance of my experience with her I would be lighting fireworks, releasing balloons and striking up the band! I could write an essay on how wonderful of a doctor Jill Carnahan is, but I’ll keep it brief. Dr. Jill is a true gift to this world. I honestly can’t imagine where I’d be without her dedication, compassion, intelligence, guidance, and continuous support.

Dr. Jill is a phenomenal functional medicine physician who has the kindest spirit and is a patient listener who takes the time to collect every possible clue to identify what could be causing your health problems. She has bedside manner rarely seen in this day and age. Her knowledge and her detective work pulled me out of a very bad place with my health. I will forever be grateful to her for fixing me!
